Abstract

A table includes a support assembly, a sliding assembly, and a table top. The sliding assembly includes at least one sliding guide rail, which is fixedly coupled to the support assembly, and at least one slide, which is slidably coupled to the at least one sliding guide rail. The table top is fixedly coupled to the at least one slide such that the table top is slidable relative to the support assembly between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the table top is aligned with the support assembly, and in the second position, the table top is not aligned with the support assembly.

Claims

 at least one sliding guide rail fixedly coupled to the support assembly; and
 at least one slide slidably coupled to the at least one sliding guide rail; and
   a table top fixedly coupled to the at least one slide such that the table top is slidable relative to the support assembly between a first position, wherein the table top is aligned with the support assembly, and a second position, wherein the table top is not aligned with the support assembly.

         2 . The table of  claim 1 , wherein:
 the support assembly includes at least one leg assembly and a frame fixedly coupled to the at least one leg assembly, and the at least one sliding guide rail is fixedly coupled to the frame.

         3 . The table of  claim 2 , wherein:
 the at least one leg assembly includes at least two legs and a leg connector connecting the at least two legs to one another, and the frame is coupled to the leg connector.

         4 . The table of claim 3 , wherein the frame is not coupled to either of the at least two legs.

         5 . The table of  claim 3 , wherein:
 the leg connector includes a first portion directly coupled to a first of the at least two legs, a second portion directly coupled to a second of the at least two legs, and a central portion connecting the first portion and the second portion, and each of the first portion and the second portion is arranged at an angle between 0° and 90° relative to the central portion.

         6 . The table of claim 5 , wherein the first portion and the second portion are arranged at an angle between 0° and 90° relative to each other.

         7 . The table of  claim 1 , wherein:
 the support assembly further includes a panel fixedly coupled to the frame, the table top is substantially planar and the panel is substantially planar, and the panel is coupled to the frame so as to be substantially perpendicular to the table top.

         8 . The table of claim 7 , wherein the panel is coupled to the frame such that a gap is formed between the panel and the table top when the table top is in the first position.

         9 . The table of  claim 7 , wherein:
 the support assembly further includes at least one bracket directly coupled to a side of the frame, the at least one bracket is arranged at an angle between 0° and 90° relative to the side of the frame; and the panel is directly coupled to the at least one bracket so as to be substantially parallel to the side of the frame.

         10 . The table of  claim 1 , wherein:
 the sliding assembly further includes at least one guide mount bar fixedly coupled to the at least one sliding guide rail, and the at least one slide is in sliding contact with the at least one guide mount bar.

         11 . The table of  claim 1 , wherein:
 the support assembly further includes a tray fixedly coupled to the frame, the tray includes a substantially planar surface arranged substantially parallel to a substantially planar surface of the table top, when the table top is in the first position, the table top covers the tray, and when the table top is in the second position, the table top does not cover at least a portion of the tray.

         12 . The table of  claim 11 , wherein:
 the support assembly further includes at least one mount coupled directly to a side of the frame, and the tray is directly coupled to the at least one mount such that the substantially planar surface of the tray is arranged substantially perpendicularly relative to the side of the frame.

         13 . A table, comprising:
 a support assembly, including:
 at least one leg assembly;
 a frame fixedly coupled to the at least one leg assembly; and
 a tray fixedly coupled to the frame, the tray having a substantially planar surface;
   a sliding assembly, including:
 at least one sliding guide rail fixedly coupled to the frame; and
 at least one slide slidably coupled to the at least one sliding guide rail; and
   a table top fixedly coupled to the at least one slide such that the table top is slidable relative to the support assembly between a first position, wherein the table top covers the substantially planar surface of the tray, and a second position, wherein the table top does not cover at least a portion of the substantially planar surface of the tray.
