Sealed pressure-measuring member
Abstract
The pressure-measurement member ( 12 ) comprises: a pressure-measurement surface ( 106 ) functionally connected to a test body ( 96 ), a sealed pressure-measurement housing ( 100 ) in which the test body ( 96 ) is arranged. The pressure-measurement surface ( 106 ) is carried by a deformable wall ( 104 ) of the sealed pressure-measurement housing ( 100 ) lying some distance from the test body, the sealed pressure-measurement housing ( 100 ) delimiting a space (E) internal to the sealed housing ( 100 ); pressure-transmission means ( 110 ) that transmit the pressure between the pressure-measurement surface ( 106 ) and the test body ( 96 ) and comprising a substantially incompressible material ( 136 ) occupying all of the internal space (E); and energy storage means ( 101 ) and pressure processing means ( 99 ) for processing the pressure detected by the test body ( 96 ) and arranged in the sealed housing ( 100 ).
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 21 . (canceled)
22 . A protective housing for a tyre pressure-measurement member, comprising:
first and second parts that are movable relative to one another between a first position for inserting the member into the housing and a second position for holding the member in the housing, the first and second parts being arranged so that air can communicate between outside of and inside of the housing when in the second position; and a filter for filtering the air entering the housing, the filter including a passage space for passage of the air between outside of and inside of the housing, the space defined by the first and second parts.
23 . The housing according to claim 22 , further comprising a brace positioned between the first and second parts.
24 . The housing according to claim 22 , wherein the passage space has, in cross section, an overall profile in an elbow-like shape between outside of and inside of the housing.
25 . The housing according to claim 23 , wherein the passage space has, in cross section, an overall profile in an elbow-like shape between outside of and inside of the housing.
26 . The housing according to claim 22 , wherein the passage space is defined at least in part by a side wall of one of the first and second parts.
27 . The housing according to claim 26 , wherein the passage space is defined at least in part by a skirt that overhangs the side wall.
28 . The housing according to claim 27 , wherein the skirt has a tapering profile.
29 . The housing according to claim 27 , wherein the skirt extends around an entire periphery of the one of the first and second parts corresponding to the side wall.
30 . The housing according to claim 28 , wherein the skirt extends around an entire periphery of the one of the first and second parts corresponding to the side wall.Cited by (0)
