Abstract
A method of monitoring a plurality of turbomachines is disclosed herein. The method includes a fleet data system periodically receiving first event data from a first monitoring connection system and second event data from a second monitoring connection system. The method also includes the fleet data system storing the first event data and the second event data related to events that have occurred over a predetermined timeframe and sending at least the event data related to the events from the first event data to a monitoring device. The event data includes an event name, an event status, and a timestamp related to when the event occurred.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method of monitoring a plurality of turbomachines, comprising:
a first monitoring connection system periodically receiving first event data from a first control system for a first turbomachine of the plurality of turbomachines; a second monitoring connection system periodically receiving second event data from a second control system for a second turbomachine of the plurality of turbomachines; a fleet data system receiving the first event data from the first monitoring connection system and the second event data from the second monitoring connection system; the fleet data system storing the first event data and the second event data related to events that have occurred over a predetermined timeframe; the fleet data system sending at least the event data related to the events from the first event data that have occurred over a selected timeframe to a monitoring device; and the monitoring device displaying the data related to the events from the first event data that occurred within the selected timeframe on an output display of the monitoring device including an event name, an event status, and a timestamp related to when the event occurred.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the selected timeframe is determined based on a user input.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the data related to the selected timeframe from the first event data is filtered by an event type.
4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising displaying only the events within the selected timeframe related to the event type selected by a user.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the monitoring device requesting at least the event data related to the events from the first event data that have occurred over the selected timeframe from the fleet data system includes requesting the data related to the events that have occurred over the predetermined timeframe.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the fleet data system sending at least the data related to the events from the first event data that have occurred over the selected timeframe to the monitoring device includes sending the data related to the events that have occurred over the predetermined timeframe.
7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
a second monitoring device requesting at least the data related to the events from the second event data that have occurred over the selected timeframe from the fleet data system; the fleet data system sending at least the event data related to the events from the second event data that have occurred over the selected timeframe to the second monitoring device; and the second monitoring device displaying the data related to the events from the second event data that occurred within the selected timeframe on a second output display of the second monitoring device including the event name, the event status, and the timestamp related to when the event occurred.
8 . A method of monitoring a plurality of turbomachinery systems, each including a control system that provides event data to a monitoring connection system, the method comprising:
a fleet data system receiving the event data periodically from the monitoring connection system of each turbomachinery system of the plurality of turbomachinery systems; the fleet data system storing the event data for a predetermined period; the fleet data system sending the event data related to a turbomachinery system of the plurality of turbomachinery systems for at least events that have occurred within a selected timeframe to the monitoring device; and the monitoring device displaying the event data related to the turbomachinery system of the plurality of turbomachinery systems for at least the events that have occurred within the selected timeframe on an output display of the monitoring device, the event data for each of the events including an event name, an event status, and a timestamp related to when the events occurred.
9 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising:
the fleet data system sending the event data related to the turbomachinery system of the plurality of turbomachinery systems for at least the events that have occurred within the selected timeframe to a second monitoring device; and the second monitoring device displaying the event data related to the turbomachinery system of the plurality of turbomachinery systems for at least the events that have occurred within the selected timeframe on a second output display of the second monitoring device.
10 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising:
the fleet data system sending the event data related to a second turbomachinery system of the plurality of turbomachinery systems for at least the events that have occurred within a selected timeframe to a third monitoring device; and the third monitoring device displaying the event data related to the second turbomachinery system of the plurality of turbomachinery systems for at least the events that have occurred within the selected timeframe on a third output display of the third monitoring device.
11 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the data related to the selected timeframe is filtered by an event type and the method further comprises displaying only the events within the selected timeframe related to the event type selected by a user.
12 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising the monitoring system requesting at least the event data for the events that have occurred within the selected timeframe from the fleet data system when a connection is established.
13 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the fleet data system sending at least the event data for the events that have occurred within the selected timeframe to the monitoring device includes sending the event data for the events that have occurred within a predetermined timeframe.
14 . A system for monitoring a plurality of turbomachinery systems, each including a control system, the system comprising:
a first monitoring connection system that periodically receives first event data from a first control system; a second monitoring connection system that periodically receives second event data from a second control system; a fleet data system that receives the first event data over a network from the first monitoring connection system and stores the first event data in a fleet data store for a predetermined period, and receives the second event data over the network from the second monitoring connection system and stores the second event data in the fleet data store for the predetermined period; and a monitoring device that periodically receives at least the first event data for events that have occurred within a selected timeframe from the fleet data system, the monitoring device including a device events module that displays the first event data for the events that have occurred within the selected timeframe on an output display.
15 . The system of claim 14 , further comprising:
a second monitoring device that periodically receives at least the first event data for the events that have occurred within the selected timeframe, the second monitoring device including a second device events module that displays the first event data for the events that have occurred within the selected timeframe on a second output display.
16 . The system of claim 15 , a third monitoring device that periodically receives at least the second event data for the events that have occurred within the selected timeframe, the third monitoring device including a third device events module that displays the second event data for the events that have occurred within the selected timeframe on a third output display.
