Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and program

Abstract

There is provided an information processing apparatus, including an event information analyzing section which analyzes event information related to an event in which a person participates, a person image group analyzing section which analyzes, for the person participating in the event, a person image group including one or a plurality of person images including the person, and a profile estimation section which estimates a profile of the person participating in the event based on a result obtained by analyzing the person image group and a result obtained by analyzing the event information.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An information processing apparatus, comprising:
 circuitry configured to:
 receive image data from a client terminal of a user; 
   determine profile information of the user based on the image data;   analyze event information related to an event in which the user participates and social information related to social media;   update the profile information based on the event information and the social information; and   control a display of the profile information.   
     
     
         2 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the profile information of the user includes one or more profile items, and   wherein the circuitry is further configured to calculate, for each of the one or more profile items, a certainty factor which indicates certainty of the each of the one or more profile items.   
     
     
         3 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to calculate in a manner that the certainty factor of the each of the one or more profile items estimated based on first event information that is manually input is higher than the certainty factor of the each of the one or more profile items estimated based on second event information and the certainty factor of the each of the one or more profile items estimated based on the image data. 
     
     
         4 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to:
 set a prescribed profile item of the profile information as a search condition, and search for events;   
       in an event a plurality of events satisfy the search condition, calculate, for each of the plurality of events, certainty factors of the plurality of events based on levels of certainty factors of one or more profile items related to the user included in the plurality of events, and
 select a display form for each of the plurality of events based on the calculated certainty factors of the plurality of events. 
 
     
     
         5 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the circuitry is further configured to estimate the profile information for the user who participates in a plurality of events based on each of the plurality of events, and change the profile information based on each of the plurality of events.   
     
     
         6 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the event information includes information related to one or more of:
 an event time when the event is held,   an event location where the event is held,   an event title which the user has provided for the event, and   an event type.   
     
     
         7 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the profile information includes one or more profile items, and the one or more profile items include an item related to one or more of:
 a name of the user,   a sex of the user,   an age of the user,   a place of residence of the user,   a hometown of the user, and   a date of birth of the user.   
     
     
         8 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the circuitry is further configured to control display forms of one or more profile items of the profile information, wherein the display forms include: size, color or transparency of characters that indicate values of the one or more profile items based on levels of certainty factors associated with the one or more profile items.   
     
     
         9 . An information processing method, comprising:
 receiving image data from a client terminal of a user;   determining profile information of the user based on the image data;   analyzing event information related to an event in which the user participates and social information related to social media;   updating the profile information based on the event information and the social information, and   controlling a display of the profile information.   
     
     
         10 . An information processing method according to  claim 9 , further comprising:
 calculating, for each of the one or more profile items, a certainty factor which indicates certainty of the each of the one or more profile items,   wherein the profile information of the user includes one or more profile items.   
     
     
         11 . The information processing method according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 calculating in a manner that the certainty factor of the each of the one or more profile items estimated based on first event information that is manually input is higher than the certainty factor of the each of the one or more profile items estimated based on second event information and the certainty factor of the each of the one or more profile items estimated based on the image data.   
     
     
         12 . The information processing method according to  claim 9 , further comprising:
 setting a prescribed profile item of the profile information as a search condition, and searching for events;   
       in an event a plurality of events satisfy the search condition, calculating, for each of the plurality of events, certainty factors of the plurality of events based on levels of certainty factors of one or more profile items related to the user included in the plurality of events, and
 selecting a display form for each of the plurality of events based on the calculated certainty factors of the plurality of events. 
 
     
     
         13 . The information processing method according to  claim 9 , further comprising:
 estimating the profile information for the user participating in a plurality of events based on each of the plurality of events, and changing the profile information based on each of the plurality of events.   
     
     
         14 . The information processing method according to  claim 9 , wherein the event information includes information related to one or more of:
 an event time when the event is held,   an event location where the event is held,   an event title which the user has provided for the event, and   an event type.   
     
     
         15 . The information processing method according to  claim 9 , wherein the profile information includes one or more profile items, and the one or more profile items include an item related to one or more of:
 a name of the user,   a sex of the user,   an age of the user,   a place of residence of the user,   a hometown of the user, and   a date of birth of the user.   
     
     
         16 . The information processing method according to  claim 9 , further comprising controlling display forms of one or more profile items of the profile information, wherein the display forms include: size, color or transparency of characters that indicate values of the one or more profile items based on levels of certainty factors associated with the one or more profile items. 
     
     
         17 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon, computer-executable instructions for causing a computer to perform operations, comprising:
 receiving image data from a client terminal of a user;
 determining profile information of the user based on the image data; 
 analyzing event information related to an event in which the user participates and social information related to social media; 
 updating the profile information based on the event information and the social information; and 
 controlling a display of the profile information. 
   
     
     
         18 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 17 , further comprising:
 calculating, for each of the one or more profile items, a certainty factor which indicates certainty of the each of the one or more profile items,   wherein the profile information of the user includes one or more profile items.   
     
     
         19 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 18 , further comprising:
 calculating in a manner that the certainty factor of the each of the one or more profile items estimated based on first event information that is manually input is higher than the certainty factor of the each of the one or more profile items estimated based on second event information and the certainty factor of the each of the one or more profile items estimated based on the image data.   
     
     
         20 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 18 , further comprising:
 controlling display forms of one or more profile items of the profile information, wherein the display forms include: size, color or transparency of characters that indicate values of the one or more profile items based on levels of certainty factors associated with the one or more profile items.
