A main device including an interface module configured to receive first and second control signals from a mobile terminal and to transmit the received control signals to a controller, the mobile terminal being connected for data communication with the main device; and the controller configured to receive first AV (Audio/Video) data, decode the received first AV data, receive the first control signal, transmit the decoded first AV data to the mobile terminal according to the received first control signal, receive the second control signal, receive second AV data according to the received second control signal, decode the received second AV data, and transmit the decoded second AV data to the mobile terminal.

1 . A main device comprising:
an interface module configured to receive first and second control signals from a mobile terminal and to transmit the received control signals to a controller, the mobile terminal being connected for data communication with the main device; and the controller configured to: receive first AV (Audio/Video) data, decode the received first AV data, receive the first control signal, transmit the decoded first AV data to the mobile terminal according to the received first control signal, receive the second control signal, receive second AV data according to the received second control signal, decode the received second AV data, and transmit the decoded second AV data to the mobile terminal.
2 . The main device of claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to receive a third control signal from the mobile terminal, and transmit the decoded second AV data to a display device according to the received third control signal, and wherein the display device displays the second AV content on a screen based on the second AV data transmitted from the main device.
3 . The main device of claim 1 , wherein the controller is configured to continuously receive the first AV data with the second AV data according to the second control signal.
4 . The main device of claim 1 , wherein the first and second AV data is received from at least one of a broadcast station or a server.
5 . The main device of claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to continuously transmit the first or second AV data to the mobile terminal in spite of an input source being changed.
6 . The main device of claim 1 , wherein the controller is configured to:
receive data from an input source before receiving the first AV data, control the first AV data to be received according to the receive first control signal, and transmit the first AV data to the mobile terminal in spite of receiving data from the input source.
7 . A main device connected for data communication with a mobile terminal, the main device comprising:
an interface module configured to receive a first control signal from the mobile terminal and a second control signal from a remote controller; and a controller configured to: receive first AV (Audio/Video) data, decode the receive first AV data, receive the first control signal, transmit the decoded first AV data to the mobile terminal according to the received first control signal, receive the second control signal, receive second AV data according to the received second control signal, decode the received second AV data for displaying, and transmit the decoded second AV data to an I/O (input/output) port.
8 . The main device of claim 5 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
receive a third control signal from the remote controller, and transmit the decoded second AV data to the mobile terminal.
9 . A mobile terminal comprising:
an interface module configured to transmit first and second control signals to a main device; and a controller configured to: execute an application for data communication with the main device, transmit the first control signal to the main device, receive first AV (Audio/Video) data from the main device in response to the first control signal, display first AV content based on the received first AV data on a screen, transmit the second control signal for changing AV data to the main device, receive second AV data from the main device in response to the second control signal, and display second AV content based on the received second AV data on the screen.
10 . The mobile terminal of claim 9 , wherein the controller is further configured to simultaneously display the first AV content and the second AV content on the screen.
11 . The mobile terminal of claim 9 , wherein the controller is further configured to display the second AV content replacing with the first AV content displayed on the screen.
12 . The mobile terminal of claim 9 , wherein the controller is further configured to transmit a third control signal to the main device, wherein the main device is configured to transmit the decoded second AV data to a display device according to the received third control signal, and wherein the display device displays the second AV content on a screen based on the second AV data transmitted from the main device.
13 . The mobile terminal of claim 9 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
receive EPG (Electronic Program Guide) data from the main device, and display an EPG based on the received EPG data on the screen.
14 . The mobile terminal of claim 9 , wherein the controller is further configured to display the first AV content through the executed application.
15 . The mobile terminal of claim 13 , wherein the controller is further configured to:
receive third AV data corresponding to an item selected from the displayed EPG from the main device, and display third AV content based on the received third AV data on the screen.
16 . The mobile terminal of claim 15 , wherein the controller is further configured to display a menu on the displayed third AV content of the screen.
17 . The mobile terminal of claim 16 , wherein the controller is configured to:
receive an input for selecting an item from the displayed menu, and transmit a signal corresponding to the received input to the main device.
18 . The mobile terminal of claim 9 , wherein the controller is further configured to receive the first or second AV data from the main device if the main device changes an input source.
19 . The mobile terminal of claim 9 , wherein the controller is further configured to receive the first AV data from the main device if the main device receives data from an input source before transmitting the first control signal.
20 . A digital system, comprising:
a main device configured to: receive a first and second control signals from a mobile terminal and to transmit the received control signal to a controller, the mobile terminal being connected for data communication with the main device, receive first AV (Audio/Video) data, decode the receive first AV data, receive the first control signal, transmit the decoded first AV data to the mobile terminal according to the received first control signal, receive the second control signal, receive second AV data according to the received second control signal, decode the received second AV data, and transmit the decoded second AV data to the mobile terminal; and the mobile terminal configured to: execute an application for a data communication with the main device, transmit the first control signal to the main device, receive first AV (Audio/Video) data from the main device in response to the first control signal, display first AV content based on the received first AV data on a screen, transmit the second control signal for changing AV data to the main device, receive second AV data from the main device in response to the second control signal, and display second AV content based on the received second AV data on the screen.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
