Abstract
A clothing retention system includes a pair of pants that has a waistband. The pair of pants may be worn on a user having the waistband being spaced below a waist of the user such that underwear of the user is visible above the waistband. A retention unit is provided and the retention unit may be worn around a torso of the user. The retention unit engages the pair of pants such that the waistband is retained at a selected position.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A clothing retention system comprising:
a pair of pants having a waistband, said pair of pants being configured to be worn on a user having said waistband being spaced below a waist of the user such that underwear of the user is visible above said waistband; and a retention unit being configured to be worn around a torso of the user, said retention unit engaging said pair of pants such that said waistband is retained at a selected position, wherein said retention unit comprises a belt having a first end, a second end and a first surface, said belt having a plurality of openings extending therethrough, said openings being spaced apart from each other and distributed inwardly from said first end, said belt being configured to be worn around the user's torso, said belt having a first surface, said retention unit further comprises a spool being coupled to said first surface, said spool being biased to rotate in a retracting direction, said spool being capable of being urged to selectively rotate in an extending direction.
2 . (canceled)
3 . The system according to claim 1 , further comprising a buckle being coupled to said second end, said buckle having said first end being directed therethrough such that said belt forms a closed loop, said buckle engaging a selected one of said openings such that said belt is retained at a selected diameter.
4 . (canceled)
5 . The system according to claim 1 , further comprising a chain being rotatably coupled to said spool, said chain having a distal end with respect to said spool, said chain being extendable outwardly from said spool when said spool is urged to rotate in said extending direction, said chain being retracted into said spool when said spool rotates in said retracting direction.
6 . The system according to claim 5 , further comprising a clip being attached to said distal end of said spool, said clip selectively engaging said waistband when said belt is worn on the user's torso wherein said waistband is retained at the selected position.
7 . A clothing retention system comprising:
a pair of pants having a waistband, said pair of pants being configured to be worn on a user having said waistband being spaced below a waist of the user such that underwear of the user is visible above said waistband; a retention unit being configured to be worn around a torso of the user, said retention unit engaging said pair of pants such that said waistband is retained at a selected position, said retention unit comprising:
a belt having a first end, a second end and a first surface, said belt having a plurality of openings extending therethrough, said openings being spaced apart from each other and distributed inwardly from said first end, said belt being configured to be worn around the user's torso,
a buckle being coupled to said second end, said buckle having said first end being directed therethrough such that said belt forms a closed loop, said buckle engaging a selected one of said openings such that said belt is retained at a selected diameter,
a spool being coupled to said first surface, said spool being biased to rotate in a retracting direction, said spool being capable of being urged to selectively rotate in an extending direction,
a chain being rotatably coupled to said spool, said chain having a distal end with respect to said spool, said chain being extendable outwardly from said spool when said spool is urged to rotate in said extending direction, said chain being retracted into said spool when said spool rotates in said retracting direction, and
a clip being attached to said distal end of said spool, said clip selectively engaging said waistband when said belt is worn on the user's torso wherein said waistband is retained at the selected position.Cited by (0)
