Nozzle Assembly

Abstract

Various methods and apparatus are disclosed that relate to one or more aspects of an abatement system. In various aspects a nozzle assembly of an abatement system includes at least one rotationally adjustable nozzle tubing having at least one nozzle coupled thereto.

1 . A nozzle assembly of an abatement system, the abatement system having a chamber with a gas flow inlet and a gas flow outlet, the nozzle assembly comprising:
 a tubing at least partially disposed in said chamber;   a liquid pathway within said tubing and in communication with a liquid source;   a plurality of nozzles in flow communication with said liquid pathway, said nozzles being disposed in said chamber;   wherein liquid from said liquid source is provided to said nozzles through said liquid pathway and expelled by said nozzles into said chamber to remove at least one of: heat, and combustion byproducts, from a gas flow moving from said gas flow inlet to said gas flow inlet; and   wherein a first set of said nozzles are upwardly extending and a second set of said nozzles are downwardly extending.
