Abstract

A crossbow limb combining and fixing structure includes a body and a limb, and a receiving slot is formed at a front end of the body and provided for accommodating and installing the limb. The limb and the body are crossed to form a cross shape. The body has a releasable fixing member installed at a position opposite to the receiving slot, and the fixing member is provided for fixing the limb to the body by clamping and forcing. A slide is formed on a bottom side of the body, and a carriage is slidably combined with the slide and capable of slidably closing and opening the receiving slot. The limb is in an arc shape, and a bowstring is combined between both ends of the limb. This structure improves the safety of use and the convenience of assembling and replacing the limb.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A crossbow limb combining and fixing structure, comprising:
a body; a limb, wherein the body is long-rod shaped and has a front end and a rear end extended from the front end along a front-and-rear direction; a receiving slot formed near the front end of the body; a releasable fixing member installed at the body and opposite to the receiving slot, wherein the fixing member fixes the limb to the body by clamping and forcing; a slide formed on a bottom side of the body and extended from the front end to the rear end and passing through the receiving slot; a carriage slideably combined with the slide for slideable movement in the front-and-rear direction, wherein the carriage slidably closes or opens the receiving slot, such that when the carriage opens the receiving slot, the limb may be installed into the receiving slot or removed from the receiving slot, wherein the limb is substantially in an arc shape; and a bowstring combined between both ends of the limb.

2 . The crossbow limb combining and fixing structure according to claim 1 , wherein when the carriage closes the receiving slot, a screw member extends perpendicular to the front-and-rear direction through the carriage and is screwed and locked with the body for limiting the limb in the receiving slot, and wherein when the carriage opens the receiving slot, the screw member extends into the carriage but not into the body.

3 . The crossbow limb combining and fixing structure according to claim 2 , wherein the body has a combining hole formed at the bottom side of the front end of the body, wherein the combining hole has an inner thread, wherein the carriage has a mounting hole, and wherein the screw member is passed in the mounting hole and has an outer thread screwed and engaged with the inner thread of the combining hole to secure the carriage with the body.

4 . The crossbow limb combining and fixing structure according to claim 1 , further comprising a limit structure installed between the carriage and the body for limiting and preventing the carriage from sliding and separating from the slide.

5 . The crossbow limb combining and fixing structure according to claim 4 , wherein the limit structure includes a stopper pin and a limit groove, wherein the stopper pin extends perpendicular to the front-and-rear direction and is disposed on the bottom side of the front end of the body, wherein the limit groove extends parallel to the front-and-rear direction and is formed on a top side of the carriage, and wherein a section of the stopper pin is extended into the limit groove and slides in the limit groove.

6 . The crossbow limb combining and fixing structure according to claim 1 , wherein the receiving slot of the body has an opening facing downward.

7 . The crossbow limb combining and fixing structure according to claim 1 , wherein the front end of the body has a through hole extending parallel to the front-and-rear direction and communicated with the receiving slot, wherein the through hole has an inner thread formed therein, wherein the receiving slot of the body has two pads installed therein and a compressing plate disposed between the two pads and the through hole, wherein the fixing member is passed through the through hole parallel to the front-and-rear direction, wherein the fixing member has an outer thread screwed and engaged with the through hole inner thread, wherein the fixing member is extendable into the receiving slot to push the compressing plate, and wherein the compressing plate and the two pads are provided for clamping and positioning the limb.
