Abstract
Methods and systems for discovering and exploring feature knowledge included in large corpora are disclosed. The described systems and methods may include the application of in-memory analytics to records, where the analytic methods applied to the records and the level of precision of the methods may be dynamically selected by a user.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a first server, a first search query in a specified format, generated via a user interface that presents a user with options of a plurality of analytic methods to apply to results of the first search query; parsing, by the first server, the first search query to determine, using information in the first search query, if field processing is required; applying, by the first server, when field processing is required, a processing technique to a set of fields from the first search query; generating, by the first server, a second search query and a set of additional search queries, wherein the second search query and the set of additional search queries are processed as a stack-based search; and sending, by the first server, the second search query to a second server that is associated with a set of collections specified in the first search query.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second server scores a plurality of records against the second search query and the set of additional search queries and scores a match of one or more fields of the records.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the second server further determines a score for an overall match of the plurality of records with the second search query and the set of additional search queries.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the processing technique is address standardization.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the processing technique is proximity boundaries.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the processing technique is nickname interpretation.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the specified format is XML.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the specified format is HTML.
9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the specified format comprises a JSON data structure.
10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the specified format is a binary format.
11 . A system comprising:
a plurality of servers each having a memory and a processor for executing computer readable instructions, the computer readable instructions including: receiving, by a first server, a first search query in a specified format, generated via a user interface that presents a user with options of a plurality of analytic methods to apply to results of the first search query; parsing, by the first server, the first search query to determine, using information in the first search query, if field processing is required; applying, by the first server, when field processing is required, a processing technique to a set of fields from the first search query; generating, by the first server, a second search query and a set of additional search queries, wherein the second search query and the set of additional search queries are processed as a stack-based search; and sending, by the first server, the second search query to a second server that is associated with a set of collections specified in the first search query.
12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the second server scores a plurality of records against the second search query and the set of additional search queries and scores a match of one or more fields of the records.
13 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the second server further determines a score for an overall match of the plurality of records with the second search query and the set of additional search queries.
14 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the processing technique is address standardization.
15 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the processing technique is proximity boundaries.
16 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the processing technique is nickname interpretation.
17 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the specified format is XML.
18 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the specified format is HTML.
19 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the specified format comprises a JSON data structure.
20 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the specified format is a binary format.Cited by (0)
