. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein the carrying case includes four adjustable straps, wherein the hip holster configuration provides a first adjustable strap for connection around the waist and a second adjustable strap for connection around the one leg, and wherein the back configuration provides a third adjustable strap for connection around a left arm of the person and a fourth adjustable strap for connection around the right arm of the person.
. The carrying case of claim 2 , wherein the back configuration further utilizes the second adjustable strap used in the hip holster configuration for connection around the waist.
. The carrying case of claim 2 , wherein the configurations further include a front configuration, wherein the front configuration provides one adjustable strap for connection around each arm of the person, attaching the encasing structure to a front of the person.
. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein the configurations further include a side holster configuration, wherein the side holster configuration provides one adjustable strap for connection around one arm of the person and one adjustable strap for connection around a chest of the person, attaching the encasing structure under the one arm of the person.
. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein a first end of an adjustable strap is permanently connected to the encasing structure, wherein the encasing structure includes a receiving structure for attaching a second end of the adjustable straps for use in connecting the encasing structure to the person.
. The carrying case of claim 6 , wherein the adjustable straps are retractable straps under tension that are configured to substantially recede into the encasing structure when not connected.
. The carrying case of claim 7 , wherein the first end of the adjustable strap is configured to wrap around a spring-loaded spindle that provides tension for retracting the adjustable strap into the encasing structure.
. The carrying case of claim 7 , wherein the retractable straps are configured to wrap around the encasing structure when retracted between a first layer of the encasing structure and a second layer of the encasing structure.
. The carrying case of claim 7 , wherein the retractable straps are configured to retract into a compartment at one end of the encasing structure.
. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein the carrying case further includes a supplemental power mechanism attached to the encasing structure, wherein the supplemental power mechanism is configured to provide supplemental power to an electronic device or batteries held within the encasing structure.
. The carrying case of claim 11 , wherein the supplemental power mechanism is a photovoltaic mechanism or a motion energy capture mechanism.
. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein the encasing structure includes an opening on one side, wherein the opening facilitates interaction with an electronic device while the electronic device is held within the encasing structure.
. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein the printer is configured to connect to an electronic device via a wireless protocol or a wired connection.
. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein the carrying case includes a global positioning system transmitter chip for providing a location of the carrying case.
. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein the carrying case includes an emergency button, and wherein the emergency button, when pressed, is configured to cause a loud and repeating sound to be emitted.
. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein the carrying case includes a hazardous conditions detector configured to warn the person of a hazardous condition.
. The carrying case of claim 17 , wherein the hazardous condition is smoke, poisonous gas, biological agents, particulate matter, fire, combustible gases, weather conditions, or radiation.
. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein the carrying case includes a clock display or an atomic clock display.
. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein a perimeter area of the carrying case is configured to emit a light.
. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein the encasing structure is configured to allow transmission of a light signal between the electronic device and a second electronic device not held within the encasing structure.
. The carrying case of claim 21 ,
wherein the light signal is a laser beam; and wherein pulses of the laser beam include information.
. The carrying case of claim 1 , wherein the carrying case allows the electronic device to project images or video onto a screen or wall while being held within the encasing structure.
. A method of manufacturing a multi-configuration electronic device carrying case, comprising:
providing an outer shell; positioning a soft inner shell configured to hold an electronic device within the outer shell; installing an integrated printer in the interior of the encasing structure, wherein the printer is configured to print a document based on a command received from the electronic device held within the encasing structure; and attaching four adjustable, retractable straps to one side of an outside of the outer shell, wherein the one side of the outer shell includes a receiving structure for receiving one end of one of the adjustable, retractable straps, wherein the adjustable straps are configured to attach the encasing structure to a person in one of a plurality of configurations, wherein the configurations include:
