System and Apparatus for Facilitating Transactions Between Two or More Parties

Abstract

The present invention provides a system and apparatus for facilitating a transaction between two or more parties. A server computer is used to determine whether a contact information and an identity validation information of a second party are accurate. Whenever the contact information and the identity validation information of the second party are accurate, one or more documents are modified by attaching and identity validation from a first party and the identity validation from the second party to the one or more documents.

         30 . An apparatus for facilitating transactions involving one or more intellectual properties comprising:
 a network interface;   one or more data storage devices;   one or more processors communicably coupled to the network interface and the data storage devices; and   a non-transitory computer readable medium encoded with a computer program communicably coupled to the one or more processors that when executed by the one or more processors provides a web site having a posting for each of one or more copyrighted materials, receives a selection of one of the one or more copyrighted materials from one or more client communication devices via the network interface, sends a public information and one or more terms for a further disclosure of the selected copyrighted material to the one or more client communication devices via the network interface, receives a request for a contiguous portion of the selected copyrighted material from the one or more client communications devices via the network interface, and provides the contiguous portion of the selected copyrighted material to the one or more client communications devices via the network interface.   
     
     
         31 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the one or more processors further:
 receive an acceptance of the one or more terms for the further disclosure of the selected copyrighted material from the one or more client communications devices via the network interface; and   sending the selected copyrighted material to the one or more client communications devices via the network interface.   
     
     
         32 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the copyrighted materials comprise books, music, videos, television shows, movies, software, applications, games or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         33 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the public information comprises a description of the selected copyrighted material and a photo of the selected copyrighted material. 
     
     
         34 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the one or more terms for the further disclosure of the selected copyrighted material comprise a payment of a fee, a license agreement, a purchase agreement, or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         35 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the further disclosure of the selected copyrighted material comprises the selected copyrighted material. 
     
     
         36 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the contiguous portion of the selected copyrighted material comprises a graphical content, an audio content, a video content, or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         37 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the contiguous portion of the selected copyrighted material is approved by or received from an owner of the selected copyrighted material. 
     
     
         38 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the one or more processors further receive an account information or a login information for a user from the one or more client communications devices via the network interface. 
     
     
         39 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the one or more processors further:
 receive an identity validation information of a user from the one or more client communications devices via the network interface; and   determining whether the identity validation information of the user is accurate.   
     
     
         40 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the one or more processors further:
 receive one or more search terms from the one or more client communications devices via the network interface; and   send the public information for the one or more copyrighted materials that are responsive the one or more search terms to the one or more client communications device via the network interface.   
     
     
         41 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the one or more processors further send one or more categories of the one or more copyrighted materials to the one or more client communications devices via the network interface for browsing by a user.

The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the one or more processors further receive the public information, the one or more terms for the further disclosure, and at least one of the one or more copyrighted materials from an owner of the at least one of the one or more copyrighted materials. 
     
     
         43 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the one or more processors further register an owner of at least one of the one or more copyrighted materials. 
     
     
         44 . The apparatus as recited in claim  1 , wherein the one or more processors further register a user. 
     
     
         45 . The apparatus as recited in  claim 44 , wherein the one or more processors register the user by receiving an identity validation information for the user. 
     
     
         46 . The apparatus as recited in  claim 45 , wherein the one or more processors further determine whether the identity validation information for the user is accurate. 
     
     
         47 . An apparatus for facilitating transactions involving one or more intellectual properties comprising:
 a network interface;   one or more data storage devices;   one or more processors communicably coupled to the network interface and the data storage devices; and   a non-transitory computer readable medium encoded with a computer program communicably coupled to the one or more processors that when executed by the one or more processors provides a web site having a posting for each of one or more copyrighted materials selected from the group consisting essentially of books, music, videos, television shows, movies, software, applications and games, receives a selection of one of the one or more copyrighted materials from one or more client communications devices via the network interface, sends a public information and one or more terms for a further disclosure of the selected copyrighted material to the one or more client communications devices via the network interface, receives a request for a contiguous portion of the selected copyrighted material, and automatically provides the contiguous portion of the selected copyrighted material to the one or more client communications devices via the network interface.   
     
     
         48 . A system for facilitating transactions involving one or more intellectual properties comprising:
 a network;   one or more client communications devices communicably coupled to the network; and   one or more server computers communicably coupled to the network, the one or more server computers comprising:
 one or more data storage devices, 
 one or more processors communicably coupled to the data storage devices, and 
 a non-transitory computer readable medium encoded with a computer program communicably coupled to the one or more processors that when executed by the one or more processors provides a web site having a posting for each of one or more copyrighted materials, receives a selection of one of the one or more copyrighted materials from the one or more client communications devices via the network, sends a public information and one or more terms for a further disclosure of the selected copyrighted material to the one or more client communications devices via the network, receives a request for a contiguous portion of the selected copyrighted material from the one or more client communications devices via the network, and provides the contiguous portion of the selected copyrighted material to the one or more client communications devices via the network. 
   
     
     
         49 . The system as recited in  claim 48 , wherein the one or more processors further:
 receive an acceptance of the one or more terms for the further disclosure of the selected copyrighted material from the one or more client communications devices via the network; and   sending the selected copyrighted material to the one or more client communications devices via the network.   
     
     
         50 . The system as recited in  claim 48 , wherein the copyrighted materials comprise books, music, videos, television shows, movies, software, applications, games or a combination thereof.

         53 . The system as recited in  claim 48 , wherein the further disclosure of the selected copyrighted material comprises the selected copyrighted material, or a portion of the selected copyrighted material. 
     
     
         54 . The system as recited in  claim 48 , wherein the contiguous portion of the selected copyrighted material comprises a graphical content, an audio content, a video content, or a combination thereof. 
     
     
         55 . The system as recited in  claim 48 , wherein the contiguous portion of the selected copyrighted material is approved by or received from an owner of the selected copyrighted material. 
     
     
         56 . The system as recited in  claim 48 , wherein the one or more processors further receive an account information or a login information for a user from the one or more client communications devices via the network. 
     
     
         57 . The system as recited in  claim 48 , wherein the one or more processors further:
 receive an identity validation information of a user from the one or more client communications devices via the network; and   determining whether the identity validation information of the user is accurate.   
     
     
         58 . The system as recited in  claim 48 , wherein the one or more processors further:
 receive one or more search terms from the one or more client communications devices via the network; and   send the public information for the one or more copyrighted materials that are responsive the one or more search terms to the one or more client communications device via the network.

The system as recited in  claim 48 , wherein the one or more processors further send one or more categories of the one or more copyrighted materials to the one or more client communications devices via the network that enable a potential buying party to browse the one or more categories of the one or more copyrighted materials.

The system as recited in  claim 48 , wherein the one or more processors further receive the public information, the one or more terms for the further disclosure, and at least one of the one or more copyrighted materials from an owner of the at least one of the one or more copyrighted materials. 
     
     
         61 . The system as recited in  claim 48 , wherein the one or more processors further register an owner of at least one of the one or more copyrighted materials. 
     
     
         62 . The system as recited in  claim 48 , wherein the one or more processors further register a user. 
     
     
         63 . The system as recited in  claim 62 , wherein the one or more processors register the user by receiving an identity validation information for the user. 
     
     
         64 . The system as recited in  claim 63 , wherein the one or more processors further determine whether the identity validation information for the user is accurate. 
     
     
         65 . A system for facilitating transactions involving one or more intellectual properties comprising:
 a network;   one or more client communications devices communicably coupled to the network; and   one or more server computers communicably coupled to the network, the one or more server computers comprising:
 one or more data storage devices, 
 one or more processors communicably coupled to the data storage devices, and 
 a non-transitory computer readable medium encoded with a computer program communicably coupled to the one or more processors that when executed by the one or more processors causes the one or more server computers to provide a web site having a posting for each of one or more copyrighted materials selected from the group consisting essentially of books, music, videos, television shows, movies, software, applications and games, receive a selection of one of the one or more copyrighted materials from one or more client communications devices via the network interface, send a public information and one or more terms for a further disclosure of the selected copyrighted material to the one or more client communications devices via the network interface, receive a request for a contiguous portion of the selected copyrighted material, and automatically provide the contiguous portion of the selected copyrighted material to the one or more client communications devices via the network interface.
