Abstract
A graphical interface and method are provided for selectively displaying market information corresponding to a plurality of tradeable objects. According to one example method, a scanning feature is provided in relation to a number of tradeable object indicators. Upon detecting a predefined movement of a user input device in relation to the plurality of indicators, a graphical interface dynamically displays market information corresponding to the tradeable objects as a predefined movement of the user input device is detected in relation to the tradeable object indicators.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . (canceled)
. A method including:
displaying by a computing device a scan region, wherein the scan region includes a plurality of aligned areas, wherein each aligned area in the plurality of aligned areas is associated with a tradeable object in a plurality of tradeable objects; detecting by the computing device a movement of a cursor over a selected area based on a speed of movement of the cursor and a direction of movement of the cursor, wherein the selected area is one of the plurality of aligned areas in the scan region; selecting by the computing device a selected tradeable object from the plurality of tradeable objects in response to detecting the movement of the cursor based on the speed of movement of the cursor and the direction of movement of the cursor, wherein the selected tradeable object is the tradeable object associated with the selected area; and automatically displaying by the computing device market data for the selected tradeable object in a market data interface in response to the selecting of the selected tradeable object.
. The method of claim 2 , wherein the market data interface includes a value axis.
. The method of claim 3 , wherein the value axis includes a price axis including a plurality of price levels for a tradeable object.
. The method of claim 2 , wherein each aligned area in the scan region is associated with a different tradeable object.
. The method of claim 2 , wherein at least two aligned areas in the scan region are associated with the same tradeable object.
. The method of claim 2 , wherein each tradeable object in the plurality of tradeable objects is associated with at least one of the aligned areas in the scan region.
. The method of claim 2 , wherein each aligned area in the scan region displays an identifier for the tradeable object associated with the aligned area.
. The method of claim 2 , wherein an identifier for the tradeable object associated with each aligned area in the scan region is displayed aligned with the corresponding aligned area.
. The method of claim 2 , wherein each aligned area in the scan region is displayed substantially adjacent to an identifier for the tradeable object associated with the aligned area.
. The method of claim 2 , wherein the aligned areas in the scan region are arranged vertically.
. The method of claim 2 , wherein the aligned areas in the scan region are arranged horizontally.
. The method of claim 2 , wherein each aligned area in the scan region is associated with a working trade order for a tradeable object.
. A computer readable medium having stored therein instructions executable by a processor, including instructions executable to:
display a scan region, wherein the scan region includes a plurality of aligned areas, wherein each aligned area in the plurality of aligned areas is associated with a tradeable object in a plurality of tradeable objects; detect a movement of a cursor over a selected area based on a speed of movement of the cursor and a direction of movement of the cursor, wherein the selected area is one of the plurality of aligned areas in the scan region; select a selected tradeable object from the plurality of tradeable objects in response to detecting the movement of the cursor based on the speed of movement of the cursor and the direction of movement of the cursor, wherein the selected tradeable object is the tradeable object associated with the selected area; and automatically display market data for the selected tradeable object in a market data interface in response to the selecting of the selected tradeable object.
. The computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the market data interface includes a value axis.
. The computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the value axis includes a price axis including a plurality of price levels for a tradeable object.
. The computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein each aligned area in the scan region is associated with a different tradeable object.
. The computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein at least two aligned areas in the scan region are associated with the same tradeable object.
. The computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein each tradeable object in the plurality of tradeable objects is associated with at least one of the aligned areas in the scan region.
. The computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein each aligned area in the scan region displays an identifier for the tradeable object associated with the aligned area.
. The computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein an identifier for the tradeable object associated with each aligned area in the scan region is displayed aligned with the corresponding aligned area.
. The computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein each aligned area in the scan region is displayed substantially adjacent to an identifier for the tradeable object associated with the aligned area.
. The computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the aligned areas in the scan region are arranged vertically.
. The computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the aligned areas in the scan region are arranged horizontally.
. The computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein each aligned area in the scan region is associated with a working trade order for a tradeable object.Cited by (0)
