Abstract

Provided are methods of treating an inflammatory disease in a subject in need thereof by administering an amount of microRNA 142, an amount of microRNA 223 or an amount of microRNA 142 and an amount of micro RNA 223 to the subject in need thereof.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method of treating an inflammatory disease in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising:
administering an amount of microRNA 142, an amount of microRNA 223 or an amount of microRNA 142 and an amount of micro RNA 223 to the subject in need thereof.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the amount of microRNA 142, the amount of microRNA 223, or the amount of microRNA 142 and the amount of micro RNA 223 is effective to modulate the differentiation of a myeloid derived suppressor cell in the subject in need thereof.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the amount of microRNA 142, the amount of microRNA 223, or the amount of microRNA 142 and the amount of micro RNA 223 is effective to increase differentiation of a myeloid derived suppressor cell in the subject in need thereof.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the amount of microRNA 142, the amount of microRNA 223, or the amount of microRNA 142 and the amount of micro RNA 223 is formulated as a pharmaceutical formulation.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the amount of microRNA 142, the amount of microRNA 223, or the amount of microRNA 142 and the amount of micro RNA 223 is contained in a nanoparticle.

6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the nanoparticle comprises chitosan.

7 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the nanoparticle further comprises a targeting moiety.

8 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the targeting moiety is a LyG6 antibody.

9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the amount of microRNA 142, the amount of microRNA 223, or the amount of microRNA 142 and the amount of micro RNA 223 is co-administered with an amount of an immunomodulatory agent.

10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the amount of microRNA 142, the amount of microRNA 223 or the amount of microRNA 142 and the amount of micro RNA 223 is administered intranaslly.

11 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the amount of microRNA 142, the amount of microRNA 223 or the amount of microRNA 142 and the amount of micro RNA 223 is administered to the lungs of the subject in need thereof.

12 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the amount of microRNA 142, the amount of microRNA 223 or the amount of microRNA 142 and the amount of micro RNA 223 is administered to the spleen of the subject in need thereof.

13 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the amount of microRNA 142, the amount of microRNA 223 or the amount of microRNA 142 and the amount of micro RNA 223 is administered to the bone marrow of the subject in need thereof.

14 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the amount of microRNA 142, the amount of microRNA 223 or the amount of microRNA 142 and the amount of micro RNA 223 is administered to the bone marrow of the subject in need thereof.

15 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the inflammatory disease is asthma.

16 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the inflammatory disease is chronic inflammation.

17 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the inflammatory disease is acute inflammation.

18 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the amount of microRNA 142, the amount of microRNA 223 or the amount of microRNA 142 and the amount of micro RNA 223 is from 0.0001 to 100 mg/kg body weight.

19 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the amount of microRNA 142, the amount of microRNA 223 or the amount of microRNA 142 and the amount of micro RNA 223 is from 0.01 to 5 mg/kg body weight.
