Claims

Abstract

Disclosed are compounds of Formula I: and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and solvates thereof. Such compounds are MEK inhibitors and are useful in the treatment of proliferative diseases, such as cancer. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds as well as methods of using the compounds and compositions of the invention in the treatment of cancer.

         Group A: 
         A is arylene optionally substituted with one, two, three or four groups selected from R 10 , R 12 , R 14 , R 16 , and R 19  where R 10 , R 12 , R 14  and R 16  are independently hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, halo, haloalkoxy, hydroxy, alkoxy, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, haloalkyl, —NHS(O) 2 R 8 , —CN, —C(O)R 8 , —C(O)OR 8 , —C(O)NR 8 R 8′  and —NR 8 C(O)R 8′  and where R 19  is hydrogen, alkyl, or alkenyl; 
         X is alkyl, halo, haloalkyl, or haloalkoxy;
