 i) a nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleic acid sequence described by SEQ ID NOS: 5, 35, 36, 37, or 38, ii) a fragment of at least 250 consecutive bases of a molecule comprising a nucleic acid sequence described by any of SEQ ID NOS: 5, 35, 36, 37, or 38, iii) a nucleotide molecule with a sequence identity of at least 60% to a transcription regulating nucleotide molecule comprising a nucleic acid sequence described by any of SEQ ID NO NOS: 5, 35, 36, 37, or 38, and iv) a nucleotide molecule of at least 250 consecutive bases with a sequence identity of at least 60% to a transcription regulating nucleotide molecule comprising a nucleic acid sequence described by any of SEQ ID NOS: 5, 35, 36, 37, or 38, v) a nucleotide molecule of at least 250 bases capable of hybridizing under conditions equivalent to hybridization in 7% sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), 0.5 M NaPO 4 , 1 mM EDTA at 50° C. with washing in 0.1×SSC, 0.1% SDS at 50° C. to a transcription regulating nucleotide molecule comprising a nucleic acid sequence described by any of SEQ ID NOS: 5, 35, 36, 37, or 38, or the complement thereof; vi) a nucleotide molecule of at least 250 bases capable of hybridizing under conditions equivalent to hybridization in 7% sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), 0.5 M NaPO 4 , 1 mM EDTA at 50° C. with washing in 0.1×SSC, 0.1% SDS at 50° C. to a nucleic acid comprising 250 or more consecutive nucleotides of a transcription regulating nucleotide molecule comprising a nucleic acid sequence described by any of SEQ ID NOS: 5, 35, 36, 37, or 38, or the complement thereof; and vii) a nucleotide molecule which is the complement or reverse complement of any of the previously mentioned nucleotide molecules under i) to vi).

. (canceled)

. (canceled)

. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 , wherein the sequences specified under ii), iii), iv), v), vi) and vii) are capable of modifying transcription in a plant or part thereof.

. The isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 , wherein the sequences specified under ii), iii), iv), v), vi) and vii) have substantially the same transcription regulating activity as a transcription regulating nucleotide molecule comprising the nucleic acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 5.

. An expression cassette for regulating expression in plants comprising
 a) at least one isolated nucleic acid molecule capable of regulating expression in plants as defined in claim 1 , and functionally linked thereto b) at least one nucleic acid molecule which is heterologous in relation to said isolated nucleic acid molecule capable of regulating expression in plants.

. A vector comprising the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1 .

. A transgenic host cell or non-human organism comprising the isolated nucleic acid sequence of claim 1 .

. A transgenic plant or plant cell comprising the isolated nucleic acid sequence of claim 1 .

. The transgenic plant or plant cell of claim 9 , wherein said plant or plant cell is from a dicotyledonous plant.

. (canceled)

. A method for the production of an expression cassette comprising the steps of:
