Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A money handling apparatus, comprising:
a depositing unit including a feeding mechanism that feeds money placed thereon one by one; a recognition unit that recognizes the money fed by the feeding mechanism; an escrow unit that temporarily stores the money fed by the feeding mechanism and recognized by the recognition unit; a storage unit that stores the money temporarily stored in the escrow unit; and a transport unit that connects the depositing unit, the recognition unit, the escrow unit and the storage unit, and transports the money, wherein the escrow unit that temporarily stores the money deposited through the depositing unit and recognized by the recognition unit during a depositing process, and stores specific money during a specific process other than the depositing process.
2 . The money handling apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising:
a dispensing unit that is connected to the transport unit and dispenses money, wherein the specific process is a dispensing process of dispensing the money stored in the storage unit from the dispensing unit through the recognition unit, and the specific money is money recognized by the recognition unit as banknotes not to be dispensed to the dispensing unit during the dispensing process.
3 . The money handling apparatus of claim 2 , wherein
the specific money stored in the escrow unit is returned to the storage unit through the recognition unit after the dispensing process is finished.
4 . A money handling apparatus, comprising:
a depositing unit including a feeding mechanism that feeds money placed thereon one by one; a recognition unit that recognizes the money fed by the feeding mechanism; a storage unit that stores the money fed by the feeding mechanism and recognized by the recognition unit; a dispensing unit that dispenses the money stored in the storage unit; an escrow unit that temporarily stores rejected money recognized as money not to be dispensed to the dispensing unit during a dispensing process of dispensing the money stored in the storage unit from the dispensing unit through the recognition unit; a collection storage that stores the money; and a transport unit that connects the depositing unit, the dispensing unit, the recognition unit, the storage unit, the escrow unit and the collection storage, and transports the money, wherein the money stored in the escrow unit during the dispensing process is stored in the collection storage after the dispensing process is finished.
5 . A money handling apparatus, comprising:
a depositing unit including a feeding mechanism that feeds money placed thereon one by one; a recognition unit that recognizes the money fed by the feeding mechanism; a storage unit that stores the money fed by the feeding mechanism and recognized by the recognition unit; a dispensing unit that dispenses the money stored in the storage unit; an escrow unit that temporarily stores rejected money recognized as money not to be dispensed to the dispensing unit during a dispensing process of dispensing the money stored in the storage unit from the dispensing unit through the recognition unit; and a transport unit that connects the depositing unit, the dispensing unit, the recognition unit, the storage unit and the escrow unit, and transports the money, wherein the money stored in the escrow unit during the dispensing process is stored in the storage unit after the dispensing process is finished.Cited by (0)
