Abstract

A therapeutic treatment device including: a heat conduction plate including a first major surface and a second major surface opposite to each other and configured to apply heat to a living tissue, with the first major surface kept in contact with the living tissue; an electric resistance pattern formed on an insulative substrate and configured to generate heat upon application of power; and an adhesive sheet which adheres the second major surface of the heat conduction plate and the electric resistance pattern to each other and is configured to transfer the heat generated by the electric resistance pattern to the heat conduction plate. A method of manufacturing including: forming the electric resistance pattern on the insulative substrate; stacking the heat conduction plate, the insulative substrate and the adhesive sheet; and joining the heat conduction plate, the adhesive sheet and the insulative substrate, by hot pressing.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A therapeutic treatment device for treating a living tissue by heating, comprising:
a heat conduction plate comprising a first major surface and a second major surface opposite to each other and configured to apply heat to the living tissue, with the first major surface kept in contact with the living tissue; an electric resistance pattern formed on an insulative substrate and configured to generate heat upon application of power; and an adhesive sheet which adheres the second major surface of the heat conduction plate and the electric resistance pattern to each other and is configured to transfer the heat generated by the electric resistance pattern to the heat conduction plate.

2 . The therapeutic treatment device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the heat conduction plate is electrically conductive, and wherein the heat conduction plate and the electric resistance pattern are insulated by the adhesive sheet.

3 . The therapeutic treatment device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the electric resistance pattern is formed on that major surface of the insulative substrate which faces the second major surface.

4 . A method for manufacturing a therapeutic treatment device which treats a living tissue by heating, comprising:
forming, on an insulative substrate, an electric resistance pattern which generates heat upon application of power; stacking (i) a heat conduction plate comprising a first major surface and a second major surface opposite to each other and configured to apply heat to the living tissue, with the first major surface kept in contact with the living tissue, (ii) the insulative substrate on which the electric resistance pattern is formed, and (iii) an adhesive sheet which adheres the second major surface of the heat conductive plate and the electric resistance pattern to each other and is configured to transfer the heat generated by the electric resistance pattern to the heat conduction plate, such that the heat conduction plate, the adhesive sheet, the electric resistance pattern and the insulative substrate are stacked in this order on the first major surface; and joining the heat conduction plate, the adhesive sheet and the insulative substrate, on which the electric resistance pattern is formed, by hot pressing.
