Abstract

The disclosure concerns a control device for controlling an information device arrangement. Control device includes camera means (CAM) and display means (VF) to allow operating of a destined location of the information surface. Destined location is adapted for determination from the control information being in the image information (IMAGE) formed by the camera means (CAM). The control device is arranged at least to determine from the control information of the image information (IMAGE) data (x1, y1, hei, wid, gx, gy) in order to determine a continuous stream of locations pointed by the control device. System, method and program products are also targets of the present invention.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . An information apparatus comprising:
a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory, wherein the processor is configured to:
receive from a control device having an image capture apparatus a captured displayed image file, wherein the received captured displayed image file includes machine-readable control information that is invisible to human eyes, and
communicate an image to a presentation device for display on a remote surface based on the received captured displayed image file and the machine-readable control information, wherein the machine-readable control information includes coordinates of the remote surface.

2 . The information apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the machine-readable control information comprises image information data for providing a continuous stream of locations.

3 . The information apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the processor is configured to determine an action to be taken based on the image information data.

4 . The information apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the machine-readable control information is formed by visually encoded L-shaped control elements forming control element groups.

5 . The information apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the control element groups each include four L-shaped control elements.

6 . The information apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the image is communicated over a communication network to a plurality of presentation devices.

7 . The information apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to generate control and setting information for the remote surface.

         8 . A method comprising:
receiving, at an information apparatus, from a control device a captured displayed image file, wherein the received captured displayed image file includes machine-readable control information that is invisible to human eyes; and communication, from the information apparatus, an image to a presentation device for display on a remote surface based on the received captured displayed image file and the machine-readable control information, wherein the machine-readable control information includes coordinates of the remote surface.

9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the control device comprises an image capture apparatus.

10 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the machine-readable control information comprises image information data for providing a continuous stream of locations.

11 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising determining, at the information apparatus, an action to be taken based on the image information data.

12 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the machine-readable control information is formed by visually encoded L-shaped control elements forming control element groups.

13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the control element groups each include four L-shaped control elements.

14 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising generating, at the information apparatus, control and setting information for the remote surface.

         15 . A system comprising:
a processor; a memory coupled to the processor; and a projector interface coupled to the processor; wherein the processor is configured to:
 generate control and setting information for a screen surface;
receive an image file from a control device, wherein the received image file includes machine-readable control information that is invisible to human eyes; and
communicate an image to a presentation device via the projector interface for display on the screen surface based on the received image file, the machine-readable control information, and the generated control and setting information, wherein the machine-readable control information includes coordinates of the screen surface.

16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the projector interface comprises a Bluetooth module.

17 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the processor is configured to determine a location on the screen surface.

18 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the machine-readable control information is formed by visually encoded L-shaped control elements forming control element groups.

19 . The system of claim 18 , wherein the control element groups each include four L-shaped control elements.

20 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the control information comprises visually encoded control elements on the information surface.
