Abstract

A dietary supplement composition is formulated in a therapeutic amount to treat and alleviate symptoms of joint pain. The composition includes pro-inflammatory low molecular weight microbial fermented sodium hyaluronate fragments and glucosamine in an oral dosage form.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
That which is claimed is:

1 . A method to treat and alleviate symptoms of joint pain in a person having joint pain by administering to the person a therapeutic amount of a dietary supplement composition comprising pro-inflammatory low molecular weight microbial fermented sodium hyaluronate fragments having a molecular weight of 0.5 to 300 kilodaltons (kDa), Type II collagen, glucosamine and chondroitin in an oral dosage form.

2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition further comprises micro- or nano-dispersed pro-inflammatory low molecular weight microbial fermented sodium hyaluronate fragments.

3 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the glucosamine comprises glucosamine hydrochloride (HCL).

4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the glucosamine comprises glucosamine sulfate.

5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the composition further comprises an anti-inflammatory or joint health promoting compound that is any one of chondroitin, Bowellia, turmeric, methylsulfonymethane (MSM), or s-adenosyl-methionine.

6 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising astaxanthin.

7 . A method to treat and alleviate symptoms of joint pain in a person having joint pain by administering to the person a therapeutic amount of a dietary supplement composition comprising pro-inflammatory low molecular weight microbial fermented sodium hyaluronate fragments having a molecular weight of 0.5 to 300 kilodaltons (kDa), glucosamine and Type II collagen in an oral dosage form.

8 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein the composition further comprises micro- or nano-dispersed pro-inflammatory low molecular weight microbial fermented sodium hyaluronate fragments.

9 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein the glucosamine comprises glucosamine hydrochloride (HCL).

10 . The method according to claim 7 , wherein the glucosamine comprises glucosamine sulfate.

11 . The method according to claim 7 , further comprising an anti-inflammatory or joint health promoting compound that is any one of chondroitin, Bowellia, turmeric, methylsulfonymethane (MSM) or s-adenosyl-methionine.

12 . The method according to claim 7 , further comprising astaxanthin.

13 . A method to treat and alleviate symptoms of joint pain in a person having joint pain by administering to the person a therapeutic amount of a dietary supplement composition comprising pro-inflammatory low molecular weight microbial fermented sodium hyaluronate fragments having a molecular weight of 0.5 to 300 kilodaltons (kDa) and Type II collagen in an oral dosage form.

14 . The method according to claim 13 , wherein the composition comprises micro- or nano-dispersed pro-inflammatory low molecular weight microbial fermented sodium hyaluronate fragments.

15 . The method according to claim 13 , further comprising an anti-inflammatory or joint health promoting compound that is any one of chondroitin, Bowellia, turmeric, methylsulfonymethane (MSM) or s-adenosyl-methionine.

16 . The method according to claim 13 , wherein the Type II collagen comprises a chicken sternal cartilage derived collagen.

17 . The method according to claim 13 , wherein the Type II collagen comprises a bovine derived collagen.

18 . The method according to claim 13 , further comprising astaxanthin.
