Abstract

A shelving apparatus includes a plurality of vertical posts and a supporting frame. Each vertical post has an inner attachment surface, a side surface, and a plurality of attachment slots formed at the inner attachment surface. The supporting frame includes a shelf platform and a plurality of shelf supporting beams for supporting the shelf platform. Each shelf supporting beam includes a beam member and two post lockers provided at two ends of the beam member respectively. Each post locker includes an extension wall biasing against the side surface, a locker wall biasing against the inner attachment surface, and a locking element provided at the locker wall to selectively engage with one of the attachment slots so as to detachably couple the shelf supporting beam between the vertical posts at a position that the beam member is extended between the side surfaces of the vertical posts.

1 . A shelving apparatus, comprising:
 a plurality of vertical posts, each having an inner attachment surface, a side surface perpendicularly extended from said inner attachment surface, and a plurality of attachment slots spacedly formed at said inner attachment surface; and   one or more supporting frames supported horizontally by said vertical posts, wherein each of said supporting frames comprises :   a shelf platform; and   a plurality of shelf supporting beams supporting said respective shelf platform, wherein each of said shelf supporting beams comprises a beam member having an inner side, and two post lockers provided at two ends of said beam member to detachably couple at two of said vertical posts respectively, wherein each of said post lockers comprises an extension wall perpendicularly extended from said inner side of said beam member to bias against said side surface of said vertical post, a locker wall perpendicularly extended from said extension wall to bias against said inner attachment surface of said vertical post, and at least a locking element provided at said locker wall to selectively engage with at least one of said attachment slots so as to detachably couple said shelf supporting beam between said vertical posts at a position that said beam member is extended between said side surfaces of said vertical posts.   
     
     
         2 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein each of said vertical post further has a vertical retention slot indented on said inner attachment surface that said attachment slots are lined up in a column manner. 
     
     
         3 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 2 , wherein each of said post lockers further comprises a retention wall perpendicularly extended from said locker wall to slidably insert into said retention slot when said locking element is engaged with at said attachment slot. 
     
     
         4 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 3 , wherein a distance between said retention slot and said side surface of said vertical post matches with a distance between said extension wall and said retention wall of said post locker. 
     
     
         5 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein each of said attachment slots, having a keyhole configuration, has an enlarged upper slot portion and an elongated lower slot portion, such that said locking element is slidably passed through said upper slot portion and is downwardly slid to engage with said lower slot portion so as to detachably lock up said beam member with said vertical post.

The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 3 , wherein each of said attachment slots, having a keyhole configuration, has an enlarged upper slot portion and an elongated lower slot portion, such that said locking element is slidably passed through said upper slot portion and is downwardly slid to engage with said lower slot portion so as to detachably lock up said beam member with said vertical post.

The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein each of said beam members comprises a vertical beam wall, a top beam wall integrally and horizontally extended from a top edge of said vertical beam wall, and a recessed beam flange integrally extended from said top beam wall to define a platform supporting surface to support said shelf platform thereon, wherein said extension wall of each of said post lockers is perpendicularly extended from said vertical beam wall.

The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 3 , wherein each of said beam members comprises a vertical beam wall, a top beam wall integrally and horizontally extended from a top edge of said vertical beam wall, and a recessed beam flange integrally extended from said top beam wall to define a platform supporting surface to support said shelf platform thereon, wherein said extension wall of each of said post lockers is perpendicularly extended from said vertical beam wall.

The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 6 , wherein each of said beam members comprises a vertical beam wall, a top beam wall integrally and horizontally extended from a top edge of said vertical beam wall, and a recessed beam flange integrally extended from said top beam wall to define a platform supporting surface to support said shelf platform thereon, wherein said extension wall of each of said post lockers is perpendicularly extended from said vertical beam wall. 
     
     
         10 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 7 , wherein said recessed beam flange comprises a vertical flange wall downwardly extended said top beam wall and a U-shaped folded platform supporting wall integrally and horizontally extended from said vertical flange wall to define said platform supporting surface on said folded platform supporting wall. 
     
     
         11 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 8 , wherein said recessed beam flange comprises a vertical flange wall downwardly extended said top beam wall and a U-shaped folded platform supporting wall integrally and horizontally extended from said vertical flange wall to define said platform supporting surface on said folded platform supporting wall. 
     
     
         12 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 9 , wherein said recessed beam flange comprises a vertical flange wall downwardly extended said top beam wall and a U-shaped folded platform supporting wall integrally and horizontally extended from said vertical flange wall to define said platform supporting surface on said folded platform supporting wall. 
     
     
         13 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 9 , wherein each of said beam members further comprises a reinforcing wall integrally extended and inwardly folded on said vertical beam wall at a bottom edge thereof to bias against said post locker. 
     
     
         14 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 12 , wherein each of said beam members further comprises a reinforcing wall integrally extended and inwardly folded on said vertical beam wall at a bottom edge thereof to bias against said post locker. 
     
     
         15 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 9 , wherein each of said beam members further comprises at least one longitudinal reinforcing rib integrally and outwardly extended from said vertical beam wall. 
     
     
         16 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 12 , wherein each of said beam members further comprises at least one longitudinal reinforcing rib integrally and outwardly extended from said vertical beam wall. 
     
     
         17 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 14 , wherein each of said beam member further comprises at least one longitudinal reinforcing rib integrally and outwardly extended from said vertical beam wall. 
     
     
         18 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 2 , wherein two columns of said attachment slots are formed on said inner attachment surface of said vertical post at a position that said retention slot is formed between said columns of said attachment slots, such that two of said shelf supporting beams are detachably coupled at said vertical post as a common post. 
     
     
         19 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 6 , wherein two columns of said attachment slots are formed on said inner attachment surface of said vertical post at a position that said retention slot is formed between said columns of said attachment slots, such that two of said shelf supporting beams are detachably coupled at said vertical post as a common post. 
     
     
         20 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 17 , wherein two columns of said attachment slots are formed on said inner attachment surface of said vertical post at a position that said retention slot is formed between said columns of said attachment slots, such that two of said shelf supporting beams are detachably coupled at said vertical post as a common post. 
     
     
         21 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said supporting frame further comprises a plurality of reinforcing members, wherein each of said beam members has at least a longitudinal slot formed at an inner side thereof, such that two ends of each of said reinforcing members are detachably engaged with said longitudinal slots of two of said beam members to reinforce said beam members and to retain a fixed distance therebetween. 
     
     
         22 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 7 , wherein said supporting frame further comprises a plurality of reinforcing members, wherein each of said beam members has at least a longitudinal slot formed at an inner side thereof, such that two ends of each of said reinforcing members are detachably engaged with said longitudinal slots of two of said beam members to reinforce said beam members and to retain a fixed distance therebetween. 
     
     
         23 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 21 , wherein each of said reinforcing members has a L-shaped reinforcing panel and two coupling latches integrally extended from two ends of said reinforcing panel respectively and opposedly extended with each other to slidably engage with said longitudinal slots of two of said beam members respectively. 
     
     
         24 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 22 , wherein each of said reinforcing members has a L-shaped reinforcing panel and two coupling latches integrally extended from two ends of said reinforcing panel respectively and opposedly extended with each other to slidably engage with said longitudinal slots of two of said beam members respectively. 
     
     
         25 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said shelf platform, which has a surrounding frame and a base frame located at different horizontal levels of said surrounding frame, is reversibly supported by said shelf supporting beams at a first position and a reversibly second position, wherein at said first position, said base frame is supported by said shelf supporting beams at a position that said surrounding frame is located above said base frame to form an obstruction wall of said shelf platform, and at said second position, said base frame is supported by said shelf supporting beams at a position that said surrounding frame is located below said base frame to form a boundary-less frame structure. 
     
     
         26 . The shelving apparatus, as recited in  claim 7 , wherein said shelf platform, which has a surrounding frame and a base frame located at different horizontal levels of said surrounding frame, is reversibly supported by said shelf supporting beams at a first position and a reversibly second position, wherein at said first position, said base frame is supported by said shelf supporting beams at a position that said surrounding frame is located above said base frame to form an obstruction wall of said shelf platform, and at said second position, said base frame is supported by said shelf supporting beams at a position that said surrounding frame is located below said base frame to form a boundary-less frame structure.
