System and methods for garment accessorizing

Abstract

The present invention is directed to a system and methods by which a garment may be accessorized. Preferred embodiments of the present invention include one or more mountable accessorizing apparatus which may be shaped and/or shapeable to form one or more mounting surfaces for mounting the mountable accessorizing apparatus on the garment and to provide one or more display components which may be viewable for accessorizing the garment. Some embodiments may include attachment components which facilitate mounting the one or more mountable accessorizing apparatus on the garment. Attachment components may include friction pads, magnets, pressure-sensitive adhesive, and/or hooks. The one or more display components may be viewable to accessorize the garment such as through color, pattern, and/or texture. In some embodiments, the system may include one or more supplemental modules which may supplement mounting and/or accessorizing.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A system for accessorizing a garment, the system comprising: a mountable accessorizing apparatus formed from one or more pliable materials to permit said apparatus to be shaped to provide one or more mounting surfaces so that said mountable accessorizing apparatus may be mounted on the garment such that one or more display components may be viewable for accessorizing the garment. 
     
     
         2 . The system for accessorizing the garment from  claim 1 , wherein said mountable accessorizing apparatus may include one or more attachment components for facilitating mounting the mountable accessorizing apparatus on the garment. 
     
     
         3 . The system for accessorizing the garment from  claim 1 , wherein said mountable accessorizing apparatus is made from metal or plastic so that the mountable accessorizing apparatus is shapeable to mount on a garment. 
     
     
         4 . The system for accessorizing the garment from  claim 1 , wherein said mountable accessorizing apparatus is sized and shaped to mount on a portion of a pocket. 
     
     
         5 . The system for accessorizing the garment from  claim 1 , wherein said mountable accessorizing apparatus is sized and shaped to mount partially within a buttonhole for mounting the mountable accessorizing apparatus on the garment to develop one or more display components. 
     
     
         6 . The system for accessorizing the garment from  claim 1 , wherein said mountable accessorizing apparatus is sized and shaped to form a cylindrical-like shape for mounting on the garment to develop one or more display components. 
     
     
         7 . The system for accessorizing the garment from  claim 6 , wherein said mountable accessorizing apparatus includes a gap for mounting on the garment to develop one or more display components. 
     
     
         8 . The system for accessorizing the garment from  claim 1 , wherein said mountable accessorizing apparatus is sized and shaped to form a torus-like shape for mounting on the garment to develop one or more display components. 
     
     
         9 . The system for accessorizing the garment from  claim 7 , wherein said mountable accessorizing apparatus is sized and shaped to form a disk-like shape for mounting on the garment to develop one or more display components. 
     
     
         10 . The system for accessorizing the garment from  claim 1 , wherein the system includes one or more supplemental modules. 
     
     
         11 . The system for accessorizing the garment from  claim 2 , wherein said one or more supplemental modules attach to said mountable accessorizing apparatus by one or more supplemental attachment components. 
     
     
         12 . A method for accessorizing a garment according to the present invention, wherein the method includes the steps of:
 shaping one or more mountable accessorizing apparatus to include one or more mounting surfaces for mounting on one or more portions of the garment; and   mounting said mountable accessorizing apparatus on the one or more portions of the garment such that one or more display components are viewable to accessorize the garment.   
     
     
         13 . The method for accessorizing the garment from  claim 12 , wherein said one or more mountable accessorizing apparatus are made of pliable material. 
     
     
         14 . The method for accessorizing the garment from  claim 13 , wherein the pliable material is a pliable plastic. 
     
     
         15 . The method for accessorizing the garment from  claim 13 , wherein the pliable material is a pliable metal. 
     
     
         16 . The method for accessorizing the garment from  claim 12 , wherein said step for shaping may include said one or more mountable accessorizing apparatus that are prefabricated to be shaped for one or more portions of the garment. 
     
     
         17 . The method for accessorizing the garment from  claim 12 , wherein the method further includes a step for attaching one or more supplemental modules to said one or more mountable accessorizing apparatus. 
     
     
         18 . The method for accessorizing the garment from  claim 12 , wherein the method further includes a step for removing said one or more mountable accessorizing apparatus from the portion of the garment.
