Abstract
A pipe is disclosed. The pipe has an elongate body having an inlet opening and a mouthpiece with an aperture. An internal bore is provided within the elongate body connecting the inlet opening and the mouthpiece aperture. The internal bore has a bolus chamber with an inlet orifice aligned with the inlet opening and an exit orifice aligned with the internal bore opposite the inlet orifice. The inlet orifice has a smaller diameter than the exit orifice. The pipe is also self-extinguishing. A pipe with a cavity for holding combustible material which has inlet and exit orifices that create a venturi effect when the pipe is in use is also disclosed.

elongate body having an inlet opening and a mouthpiece with an aperture; an internal bore within the elongate body connecting the inlet opening and the mouthpiece aperture, the internal bore having a bolus chamber with an inlet orifice aligned with the inlet opening and an exit orifice aligned with the internal bore opposite the inlet orifice, the inlet orifice having a smaller diameter than the exit orifice, wherein the pipe is self-extinguishing.
2 . The pipe of claim 1 , wherein the pipe is formed of D2 steel.
3 . The pipe of claim 1 , wherein the size difference between the inlet orifice and the exit orifice is a ratio ranging from 1:1.12 to 1:1.3.
4 . The pipe of claim 1 , wherein inlet orifice may range from between approximately 0.050 inches to approximately 0.125 inches in diameter.
5 . The pipe of claim 1 , wherein the exit orifice may range from approximately 0.065 inches to approximately 0.140 inches in diameter.
6 . The pipe of claim 1 , wherein the elongate body has a removable cap.
7 . The pipe of claim 6 , wherein the removable cap and elongate body have mating threads.
8 . The pipe of claim 6 , wherein the removable cap has an internal cavity forming a portion of the bolus chamber and has the inlet opening and inlet orifice.
9 . A pipe comprising:
an internal bore with a cavity for holding combustible material which has inlet and exit orifices that create a venturi effect when the pipe is in use.
10 . The pipe of claim 9 , wherein the pipe is formed of D2 steel.
11 . The pipe of claim 9 , wherein the pipe is self-extinguishing.
12 . The pipe of claim 9 , wherein a diameter size difference exists between the inlet orifice and the exit orifice in a ratio ranging from 1:1.12 to 1:1.3.
13 . The pipe of claim 12 , wherein inlet orifice ranges from between approximately 0.050 inches to approximately 0.125 inches in diameter.
14 . The pipe of claim 12 , wherein the exit orifice ranges from approximately 0.065 inches to approximately 0.140 inches in diameter.
15 . A pipe comprising:
a bolus chamber having an inlet orifice and an exit orifice which is larger than the inlet orifice.
16 . The pipe of claim 15 , wherein the pipe is formed of D2 steel.
17 . The pipe of claim 15 , wherein the size difference between the inlet orifice and the exit orifice is a ratio ranging from 1:1.12 to 1:1.3.
18 . The pipe of claim 15 , wherein the pipe is self-extinguishing.
19 . The pipe of claim 15 , wherein the pipe bolus chamber creates a venturi effect in use.
