Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 .- 109 . (canceled)

         110 . A formulation for subcutaneous delivery, comprising:
 a. a therapeutically or cosmetically effective amount of tetradecyl sulfate in an amount that is up to about 10% w/v, or a pharmaceutically or cosmetically acceptable salt, solvate, prodrug, or ester thereof; and   b. a liquid carrier;
       provided that the formulation is formulated for subcutaneous delivery.

         111 . The formulation of claim 110 , wherein the tetradecyl sulfate is sodium tetradecyl sulfate.

         112 . The formulation of claim 110 , further comprising propylene glycol.

         113 . The formulation of claim 110 , wherein the tetradecyl sulfate is micronized.

         114 . The formulation of claim 110 , further comprising a microparticulate and/or nanoparticulate carrier.

         115 . The formulation of claim 110 , wherein the formulation is stable for a period of at least 6 months at a temperature of about 0° C. to about 50° C.

         116 . The formulation of claim 110 , further comprising an alcohol having 3 to 7 carbon atoms is present in an amount from about 0.5% w/v to about 10% w/v.

         117 . The formulation of claim 110 , further comprising an alcohol having 3 to 7 carbon atoms is present in an amount of approximately 2% w/v.

         118 . The formulation of claim 110 , wherein the tetradecyl sulfate is present in an amount less than 5% w/v.

         119 . The formulation of claim 110 , wherein the tetradecyl sulfate is present in an amount from about 0.5% to 3% w/v.

         120 . The formulation of claim 110 , wherein the tetradecyl sulfate is present in an amount of 0.5%, 1%, or 3%.

         121 . The formulation of claim 110 , wherein the formulation has a pH of about 6 to 10.

         122 . The formulation of claim 110 , wherein the formulation has a pH of about 7 to 8.

         123 . The formulation of claim 110 , wherein the injection volume is less than about 2 ml.

         124 . The formulation of claim 110 , wherein the injection volume is less than about 0.5 ml.

         125 . A kit for treating adipose tissue comprising:
 a. a formulation comprising:
 i. a therapeutically or cosmetically effective amount of tetradecyl sulfate in an amount that is up to about 10% w/v, or a pharmaceutically or cosmetically acceptable salt, solvate, prodrug, or ester thereof; and,
 ii. a liquid carrier; and,
   b. instructions for use;
       provided that the formulation is formulated for subcutaneous delivery.

         126 . The kit of claim 125 , wherein the tetradecyl sulfate is sodium tetradecyl sulfate.

         127 . The kit of claim 125 , wherein the formulation further comprises propylene glycol.

         128 . The kit of claim 125 , wherein the tetradecyl sulfate is present in an amount from about 0.5% to 3% w/v.

         129 . The kit of claim 125 , wherein the tetradecyl sulfate is present in an amount of 0.5%, 1%, or 3%.
