Abstract
A system for circulating oil coolant and exhaust gas in an engine including an oil transfer tube, an oil filter cap, and an EGR delete. The oil cap and the oil transfer tube act in conjunction to redirect the oil flow. The EGR delete enables a system to bypass the EGR system in a simple convenient way. The high pressure filter screen is able to filter in high pressure environments. The pump can be used to direct coolant to the coolant manifold. These elements can be provided in a kit that is designed for certain makes of vehicles. A means to manufacture a bypass manifold is also provided.

1 . An apparatus comprising:
an oil filter cap comprising an oil filter cap inlet, an oil filter cap outlet, and a transfer tube seat; and a transfer tube comprising a transfer tube seal and defining a transfer tube center; an EGR delete comprising an EGR delete coolant inlet, an EGR delete coolant outlet, an EGR manifold out, an EGR return and an EGR partition;
wherein the transfer tube seal abuts the transfer tube seat; the oil filter cap inlet is in communication with the transfer tube center; the EGR delete coolant inlet and the EGR manifold out are in direct communication; the EGR delete coolant outlet and the EGR return are in direct communication; and the EGR partition separates the EGR return and the EGR partition from direct communication.
2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a coolant filter housing, wherein the coolant filter housing comprises coolant filter inlet and a coolant filter outlet; and out the EGR manifold out is in communication with the coolant filter inlet.
3 . An apparatus comprising:
an EGR delete; wherein the EGR delete comprises an EGR delete coolant inlet, and EGR delete coolant outlet, an EGR support flange, an EGR delete attachment; and the EGR delete is a single piece of material.
4 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the EGR delete coolant outlet and the EGR delete coolant inlet are in communication.
5 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the EGR delete coolant outlet comprises an EGR outlet nipple and a collar.
6 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the EGR delete coolant inlet and the EGR delete attachment are configured to replace a coolant manifold of a VT365 diesel engine or a MAXXFORCE 7 diesel engine.
7 . The apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the EGR delete coolant inlet has an internal diameter that enables it to be partially placed over a VT365 diesel engine or a MAXXFORCE 7 diesel engine oil cooler housing lower's cold coolant outlet.
8 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the EGR support flange configured to attach to and close an opening of an intake manifold of a VT365 diesel engine or a MAXXFORCE 7 diesel engine.
9 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the EGR delete further comprises an EGR manifold out, an EGR return, and an EGR partition.
10 . The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the EGR partition separates the EGR return and the EGR partition from direct communication.
11 . An EGR delete comprising:
EGR delete coolant inlet, an EGR delete coolant outlet, an EGR manifold out, an EGR return and an EGR partition; wherein the EGR delete coolant inlet and the EGR manifold out are in direct communication, the EGR delete coolant outlet and the EGR return are in direct communication, and the EGR partition separates the EGR return and the EGR partition from direct communication.
12 . The EGR delete of claim 11 , wherein the EGR delete coolant outlet comprises an EGR outlet nipple and a collar.
13 . The EGR delete of claim 11 , wherein the EGR delete coolant inlet and an EGR delete attachment are configured to replace a coolant manifold of a VT365 diesel engine or a MAXXFORCE 7 diesel engine.
14 . The EGR delete of claim 13 , wherein the EGR delete coolant inlet has an internal diameter that enables it to be partially placed over a VT365 diesel engine or a MAXXFORCE 7 diesel engine oil cooler housing lower's cold coolant outlet.
15 . The EGR delete of claim 11 , wherein an EGR support flange is configured to attach to and close an opening of an intake manifold of a VT365 diesel engine or a MAXXFORCE 7 diesel engine.Cited by (0)
