Abstract
Systems and methods for detecting presence of a thing, the thing treated with a descenter, one method including in an area in which it is possible that a thing treated with a descenter is present, using a detector to detect a descenter level in the area, producing a detected descenter level, comparing the detected descenter level to a normal descenter level for the area, determining that the detected descenter level is different from the normal descenter level, said determining indicating the possible presence of a thing treated with a descenter; and using a trained service animal to facilitate such a method.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A system, comprising:
an oxidizing gas generator configured to discharge an oxidizing gas to eliminate a scent in air; and an odor agent dispenser configured to discharge an odor reducing agent simultaneously with the oxidizing gas, the odor reducing agent being different form the oxidizing gas and configured to eliminate the scent in the air.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the odor agent dispenser discharges the odor reducing agent continuously based at least in part on the oxidizing gas generator discharging the oxidizing gas.
3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the odor agent dispenser discharges the odor reducing agent intermittently at predetermined time intervals based at least in part on the oxidizing gas generator discharging the oxidizing gas.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the oxidizing gas generator and the odor agent dispenser are configured for transport into a field by a hunter.
5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the oxidizing gas generator and the odor agent dispenser are battery-powered.
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the oxidizing gas generator and the odor agent dispenser are integrated together as a single unit.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the oxidizing gas is ozone and the oxidizing gas generator is an ozone generator.
8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the odor reducing agent is cyclodextrin.
9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the odor reducing agent is chlorine.
10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the odor reducing agent is zinc ricinoleate.
11 . A method for eliminating odor, comprising:
discharging an oxidizing gas into a space to eliminate a scent in air of the space; and discharging an odor reducing agent into the space simultaneously with the oxidizing gas based at least in part on discharging the oxidizing gas into the space, the odor reducing agent being different form the oxidizing gas and configured to eliminate the scent in the air.
12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
determining that an oxidizing gas generator is discharging the oxidizing gas into the space, wherein the odor reducing agent is continuously discharged while the oxidizing gas is being discharged.
13 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
determining that an oxidizing gas generator is discharging the oxidizing gas into the space, wherein the odor reducing agent is intermittently discharged while the oxidizing gas is being discharged.
14 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:
determining that a timer satisfies a predetermined time threshold, wherein the odor reducing agent is discharged for a limited time based at least in part on the predetermined time threshold being satisfied.
15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising:
resetting the timer based at least in part on the predetermined time threshold being satisfied.
16 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the oxidizing gas is ozone.
17 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the odor reducing agent is cyclodextrin.
18 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the odor reducing agent is chlorine.
19 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the odor reducing agent is zinc ricinoleate.Cited by (0)
