Abstract
Example embodiments relate to a user interface. In particular, example embodiments are drawn to a user interface associated with a touch sensitive screen. Example embodiments are also drawn to a computer readable medium configured to generate a selection pattern upon which a pointer may be moved to at least one representation, track a movement of the pointer on the selection pattern, and generate a new selection pattern in response to the pointer being moved to the at least one representation.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat we claim is:
1 . A computer readable medium configured to cause a processer to:
move a pointer along a selection pattern in response to input received from a device; and generate a new selection pattern in response to the pointer being moved to at least one representation of the selection pattern.
2 . The computer readable medium according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one representation is a plurality of representations.
3 . The computer readable medium according to claim 2 , wherein the computer readable medium is configured to cause a display device to display the selection pattern and the new selection pattern.
4 . The computer readable medium according to claim 3 , wherein the computer readable medium is configured to generate data in response to a touch on the device.
5 . The computer readable medium according to claim 4 , wherein the touch is a touch from one of a stylus and a finger.
7 . The computer readable medium according to claim 1 , wherein at least one of the selection pattern and the new selection pattern is one of a tree type pattern and an arc type pattern.
8 . The computer readable medium according to claim 1 , wherein the computer readable medium is configured to convert eye movement to data, and use the data to move the pointer along one of the selection pattern and the new selection pattern.
9 . The computer readable medium according to claim 1 , wherein the new selection pattern includes at least one new representation.
10 . The computer readable medium according to claim 1 , wherein the computer readable medium is further configured to:
cause a display device to display the pointer, the selection pattern, and the new selection pattern; move the pointer along the selection pattern in response to a touch applied to the device; generate the new selection pattern when the touch is slid over the at least one representation.
11 . The computer readable medium according to claim 11 , wherein the device is a touch sensitive screen on the display device.
12 . A system comprising:
a display device; an input device; and a processor configured to cause the display device to display a plurality of selection patterns based on input from the input device.
13 . The system according to claim 12 , wherein
the input device is a touch sensitive device on the display device and the processor is configured to generate a pointer on the plurality of selection patterns.
14 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein
each of the plurality of selection patterns include at least one representation and a subsequent selection pattern is generated when the pointer is moved over the at least one representation.
15 . The system according to claim 14 , wherein the processor is configured to move the pointer along the selection patterns.
16 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein the plurality of selection patterns includes a first selection pattern having a first representation and a second selection pattern having a second representation.
17 . The system according to claim 16 , wherein the processor is configured to display the second selection pattern if the pointer is moved to the first representation.
18 . The system according to claim 17 , wherein the second selection pattern is displayed directly after the first second pattern is displayed.
19 . The system according to claim 17 , wherein the first selection pattern is a tree shaped pattern having a first plurality of representations and the second selection pattern is a tree shaped pattern having a second plurality of representations.
20 . The system according to claim 12 , wherein the input device is an eye tracking device.Cited by (0)
