Web based system using events and pushed web content to interact with remote users for notifications and data collections
Abstract
In a system and method for a web based system using events and pushed web content to interact with remote users for notifications and data collections operations may be performed including receiving, from a computing device, event data concerning a job being performed by a piece of agricultural equipment wherein the event data includes an identifier associated with the agricultural equipment. A database may be queried to determine a subscriber associated with the identifier. The event data may be transmitted to a network address associated with the subscriber. A response message may be received from the subscriber and forwarded to the computing device. The computing device may connect with the subscriber via a web application address included in the response message.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 15 . (canceled)
16 . A method for establishing communication between a set of subscribers and a computing device associated with a piece of agricultural equipment, the method comprising:
receiving at a server, event data associated with a piece of agricultural equipment in a geographic location, the piece of agricultural containing an identifier associated with the agricultural equipment; querying a database of subscribers using the identifier of the agricultural equipment to determine a set of subscribers for the agricultural equipment; transmitting from the server, the event data to a respective network address associated with each subscriber; receiving a response message from a first subscriber of the set of subscribers, the response message including a location of a web application; enabling communication between the first subscriber and the computing device by forwarding, from the server, the response message to the computing device for processing by the computing device.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the event data indicates a machine down event for the piece of agricultural equipment.
18 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the event data indicates a fuel level event for the piece of agricultural equipment.
19 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the response message includes a priority level.
20 . The method of claim 16 , further comprising:
determining, at the server, that the first subscriber is authorized to transmit a response message to the computing device before forwarding the response message to the computing device.
21 . The method of claim 20 , wherein the determining is based on querying a subscriber database for an authorized authentication key for the first subscriber.
22 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the response message includes a universal resource locator (URL) for the enabling the communication.
23 . The method of claim 22 , wherein the URL exposes an Application Programming Interface.
24 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions, which when executed by at least one processor, configure the at least processor to perform operations comprising:
receiving at a server, event data associated with a piece of agricultural equipment in a geographic location, the piece of agricultural containing an identifier associated with the agricultural equipment; querying a database of subscribers using the identifier of the agricultural equipment to determine a set of subscribers for the agricultural equipment; transmitting from the server, the event data to a respective network address associated with each subscriber; receiving a response message from a first subscriber of the set of subscribers, the response message including a location of a web application; enabling communication between the first subscriber and the computing device by forwarding, from the server, the response message to the computing device for processing by the computing device.
25 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 24 , wherein the event data indicates a machine down event for the piece of agricultural equipment.
26 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 24 , wherein the event data indicates a fuel level event for the piece of agricultural equipment.
27 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 24 , wherein the response message includes a priority level.
28 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 24 , further comprising:
determining, at the server, that the first subscriber is authorized to transmit a response message to the computing device before forwarding the response message to the computing device.
29 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 28 , wherein the determining is based on querying a subscriber database for an authorized authentication key for the first subscriber.
30 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 24 , wherein the response message includes a universal resource locator (URL) for the enabling the communication.
31 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 30 , wherein the URL exposes an Application Programming Interface.
32 . A system comprising:
at least one processor; a storage device comprising instructions, which when executed by the at least one processor, configure the at least processor to perform operations comprising:
receiving at a server, event data associated with a piece of agricultural equipment in a geographic location, the piece of agricultural containing an identifier associated with the agricultural equipment;
querying a database of subscribers using the identifier of the agricultural equipment to determine a set of subscribers for the agricultural equipment;
transmitting from the server, the event data to a respective network address associated with each subscriber;
receiving a response message from a first subscriber of the set of subscribers, the response message including a location of a web application;
enabling communication between the first subscriber and the computing device by forwarding, from the server, the response message to the computing device for processing by the computing device.
33 . The system of claim 32 , wherein the event data indicates a machine down event for the piece of agricultural equipment.
34 . The system of claim 32 , wherein the event data indicates a fuel level event for the piece of agricultural equipment.
35 . The system of claim 32 , wherein the response message includes a priority level.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
