Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 20 . (canceled)
. A seasoning bag for seasoning a foodstuff, including:
a bag enclosure including an interior surface extending to an open end portion; an edible adhesive adhered to the interior surface at a plurality of spaced apart regions; and a seasoning adhered to the plurality of spaced apart adhesive regions on the interior of the seasoning bag to form a plurality of spaced apart seasoning regions.
. The seasoning bag of claim 21 , wherein the plurality of seasoning regions are brought into contact with the foodstuff upon insertion of the foodstuff into the seasoning bag, to apply seasoning to a plurality of spaced apart regions on the foodstuff.
. The seasoning bag of claim 21 , wherein the seasoning bag is vacuum sealable.
. The seasoning bag of claim 21 , wherein the bag enclosure comprises first and second panels joined at first, second and third edge portions.
. The seasoning bag of claim 21 , wherein the seasoning bag is a cook-in bag.
. The seasoning bag of claim 25 , wherein the seasoning bag is at least one of an ovenable bag, a bailable bag, a slow cooking bag, and a microwavable bag.
. The seasoning bag of claim 21 , wherein the seasoning includes at least one of a coloring additive, a nutrient, an antimicrobial additive, or a preservative.
. The seasoning bag of claim 21 , wherein the plurality of spaced apart seasoning regions comprises a plurality of spaced apart lines of seasoning.
. The seasoning bag of claim 21 , wherein the plurality of spaced apart lines of seasoning comprises a plurality of spaced apart straight lines of seasoning.
. The seasoning bag of claim 21 , wherein the plurality of spaced apart lines of seasoning are sized and positioned to resemble grill marks when applied to the foodstuff.
. The seasoning bag of claim 21 , wherein the plurality of spaced apart adhesive regions includes an amount of adhesive ranging from about 25 mg per square inch to about 100 mg per square inch.
. The seasoning bag of claim 21 , wherein the plurality of spaced apart seasoning regions includes an amount of seasoning ranging from about 25 mg per square inch to about 450 mg per square inch.
. The seasoning bag of claim 21 , wherein the plurality of spaced apart adhesive regions includes a thickness of adhesive ranging from about 3 mil to about 18 mil and the plurality of spaced apart seasoning regions includes a thickness of seasoning ranging from about 3 mil to about 18 mil.
. A method of forming a seasoning bag for seasoning a foodstuff, the method comprising:
providing a sheet material; adhering an edible adhesive to a first surface of the sheet material at a plurality of spaced apart regions; adhering a seasoning to the plurality of spaced apart adhesive regions on the first surface to form a plurality of spaced apart seasoning regions; and forming a bag enclosure from the sheet material including an interior surface at least partially defined by the first surface.
. The method of claim 34 , wherein at least one of the first, second and third edge portions is folded.
. The method of claim 34 , wherein the seasoning includes at least one of a coloring additive, a nutrient, an antimicrobial additive, and a preservative.
. The method of claim 34 , wherein adhering the edible adhesive at a plurality of spaced apart regions comprises a applying the edible adhesive along a plurality of spaced apart lines, such that adhering the seasoning to the plurality of spaced apart adhesive regions forms a plurality of spaced apart lines of seasoning.
. The method of claim 37 , wherein the plurality of spaced apart lines of seasoning are sized and positioned to resemble grill marks when applied to a foodstuff inserted into the bag.
. The method of claim 34 , wherein adhering the seasoning to the plurality of spaced apart adhesive regions comprises at least one of spraying, sprinkling, and blowing the seasoning onto the plurality of spaced apart adhesive regions.
. The method of claim 34 , wherein the plurality of spaced apart lines of seasoning are sized and positioned to resemble grill marks when applied to the foodstuff.
. The method of claim 34 , wherein the bag enclosure is formed after the seasoning is adhered to the plurality of spaced apart adhesive regions.
. A method of forming a seasoning pattern on a foodstuff, the method comprising:
providing a seasoning bag joined along first, second and third edge portions to define an interior surface extending to an open end portion, the seasoning bag including an edible adhesive adhered to the interior surface at a plurality of spaced apart regions and a seasoning adhered to the plurality of spaced apart adhesive regions on the interior of the seasoning bag to form a plurality of spaced apart seasoning regions; inserting a foodstuff into the open end portion of the seasoning bag to contact the foodstuff with the plurality of spaced apart seasoning regions, such that the plurality of spaced apart seasoning regions is transferred to the foodstuff.
. The method of claim 42 , wherein the plurality of spaced apart seasoning regions comprises a plurality of spaced apart lines of seasoning sized and oriented to resemble grill marks when the plurality of spaced apart lines of seasoning is transferred to the foodstuff.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
