Abstract

In some embodiments, an archery bow comprises a frame, a first rotatable member supported by the frame, a second rotatable member supported by the frame and a limb supported by the frame. The first rotatable member comprises a first track, a second track and a cam. The cam comprises a power cable track. A bowstring cable segment extends from the first rotatable member to the second rotatable member. A control cable segment extends from the first rotatable member to the second rotatable member. A power cable extends from the limb to the first rotatable member. When the bowstring is drawn, the first track feeds out the bowstring cable segment, the second track feeds out the control cable segment and the power cable track takes up the power cable. In some embodiments, the frame comprises a riser and a spar. In some embodiments, the first rotatable member is supported by the spar.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
. An archery bow comprising:
a frame; a first rotatable member supported by the frame and arranged to rotate about a first axis, said first rotatable member comprising a first track, a second track and a cam, said cam comprising a power cable track; a second rotatable member supported by the frame; a limb supported by the frame; a first cable extending between the first rotatable member and said second rotatable member, the first cable comprising a bowstring cable segment and a control cable segment; and a power cable extending from said limb to said first rotatable member; wherein as said bowstring is drawn, said first track feeds out said bowstring cable segment, said second track feeds out said control cable segment and said power cable track takes up said power cable.

. The archery bow of claim 1 , wherein said frame comprises a riser and a first spar attached to said riser, said first rotatable member supported by said first spar.

. The archery bow of claim 2 , wherein said limb is supported by said riser.

. The archery bow of claim 2 , wherein said first spar comprises a pair of first spar members, said first spar members positioned on opposing sides of said riser.

. The archery bow of claim 4 , wherein said first spar members are positioned on opposing sides of said first rotatable member.

. The archery bow of claim 4 , wherein at least a portion of said limb extends between said first spar members.

. The archery bow of claim 6 , wherein a limb support member extends between said first spar members, said limb support member comprising a fulcrum.

. The archery bow of claim 2 , wherein said frame comprises a second spar attached to said riser, said second rotatable member supported by said second spar.

. The archery bow of claim 2 , wherein the first spar supports the limb and the riser does not contact the limb.

. The archery bow of claim 1 , the first cable comprising a first end and a second end, the first end attached to the first rotatable member, the second end attached to the first rotatable member.

. The archery bow of claim 1 , wherein the first track and the second track have the same shape.

. The archery bow of claim 1 , wherein the first track is circular and centered upon the first axis.

. The archery bow of claim 12 , wherein the second track is circular and centered upon the first axis.

. The archery bow of claim 1 , comprising a cable guard in contact with the control cable segment.

. The archery bow of claim 14 , wherein the cable guard does not contact the power cable.

. The archery bow of claim 1 , wherein the cam is oriented between the first track and the second track.

. The archery bow of claim 1 , further comprising a second power cable engaged with the first rotatable member.

. The archery bow of claim 17 , wherein said cam comprises a first cam, said first rotatable member comprising a second cam, said second power cable in communication with said second cam track.

. The archery bow of claim 18 , wherein first track and said second track are positioned between said first cam and said second cam.

. The archery bow of claim 1 , wherein said archery bow defines a shooting axis and said power cable does not cross said shooting axis.
