Abstract
Described herein are systems and methods for analyzing social media data for assets and related sub-assets, and simultaneously displaying the analysis for assets, sub-assets, and contributing social media content items to give the user insight into the analysis. The analysis may be based on user selection of a time frame, and may also include a historical timeline that plots different lines for different assets. The user may select one of the assets and cause related sub-assets and social media content items to be simultaneously displayed.
Claims

21 . A method for assessing the social media performance of an asset, the method comprising:
identifying an asset; identifying a first subset of social media profiles controlled by the asset; identifying a second subset of social media profiles that are not controlled by the asset, the performance of the second subset of social media profiles having an ability to affect the performance of the first subset of social media profiles; determining profile performance information for each of the first and second subsets of social media profiles; deriving asset performance information based, at least in part, on the profile performance information for each of the first and second subsets of social media profiles; and displaying the asset performance information.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the profile performance information is based, at least in part, on a plurality of aspects of social media performance.
23 . The method of claim 22 , wherein determining profile performance information for each of the second subset of social media profiles comprises deriving aspect-specific performance information for each of the plurality of aspects of social media performance.
24 . The method of claim 23 , wherein the plurality of aspects of social media performance comprise an audience aspect, a voice aspect, an engagement aspect, and a reach aspect.
25 . The method of claim 24 , wherein deriving aspect-specific performance information for each of the plurality of aspects of social media performance comprises deriving an influence aspect of social media performance based, at least in part, on the engagement aspect and the reach aspect of social media performance.
26 . The method of claim 24 , wherein deriving aspect-specific performance information for each of the plurality of aspects of social media performance comprises deriving an impact aspect of social media performance based, at least in part, on the voice aspect, the engagement aspect, and the reach aspect of social media performance.
27 . A non-transitory, computer-readable medium containing instructions that, when executed by a processor, performs a method comprising:
identifying a first plurality of social media profiles under the control of an asset; identifying a second plurality of social media profiles that are not under the control of the asset, the performance of the second plurality of social media profiles having an ability to affect the performance of the first plurality of social media profiles; determining profile performance information for each of the first and second plurality of social media profiles; deriving asset performance information based, at least in part, on the profile performance information for each of the first and second plurality of social media profiles; and displaying the asset performance information.
28 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 27 , wherein the second plurality of social media profiles are under the control of one or more entities within a peer group to which the asset belongs.
29 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 28 , further comprising determining a share assessment for the asset in relation to the peer group based, at least in part, on the profile performance information for each of the second plurality of social media profiles.
30 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 27 , wherein the second plurality of social media profiles are under the control of one or more entities within a hierarchy to which the asset belongs.
31 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 27 , wherein deriving asset performance information comprises weighting the profile performance information for each of the second plurality of social media profiles based, at least in part, on a level of influence the performance of a respective social media profile of the second plurality of social media profiles has on the performance of one or more social media profiles of the first plurality of social media profiles.
32 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 31 , wherein the profile performance information of at least two of the second plurality of social media profiles are assigned different weights.
33 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 31 , wherein the profile performance information of each of the second plurality of social media profiles are assigned unique weights.
34 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 27 , wherein the profile performance information is based, at least in part, on a plurality of aspects of social media performance.
35 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 34 , wherein the plurality of aspects of social media performance comprise an audience aspect, a voice aspect, an engagement aspect, and a reach aspect.
36 . A non-transitory, computer-readable medium containing instructions that, when executed by a processor, performs a method comprising:
identifying a first social media profile under the direct control of an asset; identifying a second social media profile that is not under the direct control of the asset, the performance of the second social media profile having an ability to affect the performance of the first social media profile; determining profile performance information for each of the first and second social media profiles; deriving asset performance information based, at least in part, on the profile performance information for each of the first and second social media profiles; and displaying the asset performance information.
37 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 36 , wherein the second plurality of social media profiles are under the control of one or more entities within a peer group to which the asset belongs.
38 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 37 , further comprising determining a share assessment for the asset in relation to the peer group based, at least in part, on the profile performance information for each of the second plurality of social media profiles.
39 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 36 , wherein the second plurality of social media profiles are under the control of one or more entities within a hierarchy to which the asset belongs.
40 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 36 , wherein the profile performance information comprises a plurality of aspects including an audience aspect, a voice aspect, an engagement aspect, and a reach aspect.Cited by (0)
