Abstract
A situational and global context aware calendar, communications, and/or relationship management method and system is disclosed. The system is configured to receive non-calendaring related context information, and, based on that context information, to automatically determine one or more parameters of a meeting request.

1 . A computing device comprising one or more processors, a network interface, and a memory, the memory comprising instructions, that when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing device to:
receive, via the network interface, a meeting request from a user device, the meeting request indicating one or more invitees; access, from at least one server having one or more data repositories, social media data related to the one or more invitees, wherein the social media data comprises one or more stored images generated by an imaging sensor and stored by the one or more data repositories; perform face recognition on the stored image(s) to identify at least one invitee; determine, based on content of textual data in or associated with the stored image(s), at least one attribute of the at least one invitee; determine, in near real time, the locations of a user of the user device and the one or more invitees from geolocation sensors on the user device and respective user devices associated with the one or more invitees; identify at least one recommended meeting parameter based, at least in part, on the at least one attribute of the at least one invitee and the locations of the user and the respective invitees; and transmit, via the network interface, the at least one meeting recommended parameter to the user device.
2 . The computing device of claim 1 , wherein the social media data comprises religious information, and the at least one attribute comprises a religious attribute.
3 . The computing device of claim 2 , wherein the at least one recommended meeting parameter comprises at least one recommended meeting time based, at least in part, on the religious attribute.
4 . The computing device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one recommended meeting parameter comprises venue information based on preferences of the one or more of the invitees identified in the social media data.
5 . The computing device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one recommended meeting parameter is further based on travel information for at least one of the one or more invitees.
6 . The computing device of claim 1 , wherein the social media data comprises cultural information, and the at least one attribute comprises a cultural attribute.
7 . The computing device of claim 1 , wherein the social media data comprises demographic information and the at least one attribute comprises demographic attribute.
8 . A computing device comprising one or more processors, a network interface, and a memory, the memory comprising instructions, that when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing device to:
receive, via the network interface, a meeting request from a user device, the meeting request indicating one or more invitees and comprising one or more requested meeting parameters; access, from at least one server having one or more data repositories (i) social media data related to the one or more invitees, wherein the social media data comprises one or more stored images generated by an imaging sensor and stored by the one or more data repositories, and (ii) at least one non-schedule related preference for the at least one invitee; perform face recognition on the stored image(s) to identify at least one invitee; determine, based on content of textual data in or associated with the stored image(s), at least one attribute of the at least one invitee; determine, in near real time, the locations of a user of the user device and the one or more invitees from geolocation sensors on the user device and respective user devices associated with the one or more invitees; identify at least one recommended meeting parameter based, at least in part, on the at least one attribute, the non-schedule related preferences for the at least one invitee, and the locations of the user and the respective invitees; and transmit, via the network interface, the at least one meeting recommended parameter to the user device.
9 . The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one non-schedule related preference is automatically generated based on the at least one invitee's financial information.
10 . The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one non-schedule related preference is automatically generated based on the at least one invitee's immunization history.
11 . The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one non-schedule related preference is automatically generated based on the at least one invitee's medical history.
12 . The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one non-schedule related preference is automatically generated based on the at least one invitee's travel schedule.
13 . The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one non-schedule related preference is automatically generated based on one or more environmental sensors on the at least one invitee's user device.
14 . The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one non-schedule related preference is automatically generated based on the at least one invitee's religion.
15 . The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one non-schedule related preference is automatically generated based on the at least one invitee's demographics.
16 . The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the at least one non-schedule related preference comprises a dining location preference.
17 . A computing device comprising one or more processors, a network interface, and a memory, the memory comprising instructions, that when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing device to:
receive, via the network interface, a meeting request from a user device, the meeting request indicating one or more invitees; access, from at least one server having one or more data repositories, social media data related to the one or more invitees, wherein the social media data comprises one or more stored images generated by an imaging sensor and stored by the one or more data repositories; perform face recognition on the stored image(s) to identify at least one invitee; determine, based on content of textual data in or associated with the stored image(s), one or more religious or cultural attributes of the at least one invitee; determine, in near real time, the locations of a user of the user device and the one or more invitees from geolocation sensors on the user device and respective user devices associated with the one or more invitees; and identify at least one recommended meeting parameter based, at least in part, on the at least one attribute of the at least one invitee and the locations of the user and the respective invitees; and transmit, via the network interface, the at least one recommended meeting parameter to the user device.
18 . The computing device of claim 17 , wherein the social media data comprises religious information, and the one or more religious, or cultural attributes comprises religious attributes.
19 . The computing device of claim 17 , wherein the at least one recommended meeting parameter comprises venue information based on preferences identified in the accessed social media data of the one or more of the invitees.
20 . The computing device of claim 17 , wherein the at least one recommended meeting parameter is further based on travel information for at least one of the one or more invitees.Cited by (0)
