Abstract

A condition control of a robot cleaner is performed or service is provided with a user using the robot cleaner to improve the convenience of the user. Various data items obtained through a network connection are used in the condition control or service to estimate/determine a behavior, condition, or request of the user. Specifically, the operation of the robot cleaner is controlled based on operations of other associate devices disposed in the same room where the robot cleaner runs.

1 . A method applied to an electronic unit, comprising:
 first network communicating in a local network system, the first network communicating performing data communication between the electronic unit and a system controller based on a first data format;   second network communicating in a wide-area network system, the second network communicating performing data communication between a server and the system controller based on a second data format, the second data format being different from the first data format;   converting communication data from the first data format into the second data format; and   sending the converted communication data to the server.   
     
     
         2 . A system controller comprising:
 a communication module having a first network communication function and a second network communication function, the first network being configured to be used in a local network system, the first network communication function performing data communication between an electronic unit and the system controller based on a first data format, and the second network communication function being configured to be used in a wide-area network system, the second network communication function performing data communication between a server and the system controller based on a second data format, and the second data format being different from the first data format, and   a processor configured to process communication data relating to the server and the system controller, wherein   the system controller converts the communication data from the first data format into the second data format and sends the converted communication data to the server.   
     
     
         3 . A network system comprising:
 an unit;   a system controller;   a server;   an in-system network line which communication between the system controller and the unit uses, a first data format being used on the in-system network line; and   an out-system network line which communication between the server and the system controller uses, a second data format being used on the out-system network line, and the second data format being different from the first data format, wherein   the system controller converts the communication data from the first data format into the second data format and sends the converted communication data to the server.
