Abstract

The present disclosure provides an intelligent lighting control system configured for customization based user detection. A lighting control system includes a module housing, a graphical user interface, and a switch control circuit including a processor configured to modulate the flow of electrical energy to a lighting circuit via a dimmer circuit to produce a plurality of lighting scenes. The processor is configured to identify a proximate device identification, compare the identified device with one or more registered devices saved in a dataset, select a user profile, if the identified device corresponds to one of the one or more registered devices saved in the dataset. The processor is configured to cause a change in at least one of a scene selection protocol for selecting at least one lighting scene from the plurality of lighting scenes based on the user profile selected and a display setting of the graphical user interface.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A lighting control system comprising:
a module housing; a graphical user interface coupled to the module housing; and a switch control circuit positioned in the housing and including a processor configured to modulate the flow of electrical energy to a lighting circuit via a dimmer circuit to produce a plurality of lighting scenes, the switch control circuit electrically connected to the graphical user interface, wherein the processor is configured to identify a proximate Bluetooth identification address in response to a Bluetooth antenna coupled to the processor detecting the proximate Bluetooth identification address, the processor configured to compare the identified proximate Bluetooth identification address with one or more registered Bluetooth identification addresses saved in a dataset, the processor configured to:
 1) select a user profile, if the identified proximate Bluetooth identification address corresponds to one of the one or more registered Bluetooth identification addresses saved in the dataset, the user profile selected based on a corresponding Bluetooth identification address of the one of the one or more registered Bluetooth identification addresses that the identified proximate Bluetooth identification address corresponds to, and
 2) cause a change in at least one of:
 i. a scene selection protocol for selecting at least one lighting scene from the plurality of lighting scenes based on the user profile selected, and
ii. a display setting of the graphical user interface.

2 . The lighting control system according to claim 1 , wherein the scene selection protocol includes an order of available scenes.

3 . The lighting control system according to claim 2 , wherein the order of available scenes corresponds to an order of icons and wherein the order of icons is changed when the order of available scenes is changed.

4 . The lighting control system according to claim 1 , wherein the scene selection protocol includes a scroll speed.

5 . The lighting control system according to claim 1 , wherein the scene selection protocol includes an icon display duration where an icon corresponds to a lighting scene of the plurality of lighting scenes.

6 . The lighting control system according to claim 1 , wherein display setting includes a swipe protocol.

7 . The lighting control system according to claim 6 , wherein the swipe protocol is changed from continuous to discrete, wherein in a continuous protocol icons corresponding to a scene are continuously looped in response to a swipe in a first direction and wherein in a discrete protocol the swipe in the first direction terminates when a last icon corresponding to a last scene in a list of the plurality of lighting scenes is reached.

8 . The lighting control system according to claim 1 , wherein the display setting includes a brightness of a display of an icon corresponding to a lighting scene of the plurality of lighting scenes.

9 . The lighting control system according to claim 1 , wherein the display setting includes a resolution of a display of an icon corresponding to a lighting scene of the plurality of lighting scenes.

10 . The lighting control system according to claim 1 , wherein the display setting includes a variation of font/text size

         11 . A lighting control system comprising:
a module housing; a graphical user interface coupled to the module housing; and a switch control circuit positioned in the housing and including a processor configured to modulate the flow of electrical energy to a lighting circuit via a dimmer circuit to produce a plurality of lighting scenes, the switch control circuit electrically connected to the graphical user interface, wherein the processor is configured to identify a proximate wireless signal identification address in response to a wireless antenna coupled to the processor detecting the proximate wireless signal identification address, the processor configured to compare the identified proximate wireless signal identification address with one or more registered wireless signal identification address saved in a dataset, the processor configured to: 1) select a user profile, if the identified proximate wireless signal identification address corresponds to one of the one or more registered wireless signal identification addresses saved in the dataset, the user profile selected based on a corresponding wireless signal identification address of the one of the one or more registered wireless signal identification addresses that the identified proximate wireless signal identification address corresponds to, and 2) cause a change in at least one of: a scene selection protocol for selecting at least one lighting scene from the plurality of lighting scenes based on the user profile selected, and a display setting of the graphical user interface.
