Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 23 . (canceled)
24 . A method of ultrasound welding comprising:
captively arranging a fastening element on a flat part; arranging a damping element on the fastening element so that the fastening element is pressed against the flat part by means of the damping element; and applying ultrasonic oscillations to the flat part to form a weld, wherein a relative movement between the fastening element and the flat part during the ultrasonic welding is restricted.
25 . The method according to claim 24 , wherein the relative movement between the fastening element and the flat part is restricted via a force applied by a holding arm perpendicularly to the damping element.
26 . The method according to claim 25 , wherein the force applied by the holding arm through the damping element against the fastening element is a contact pressure between 3 bar and 6 bar.
27 . The method according to claim 25 , wherein the holding arm pushes the damping element against the fastening element such that the flat part is elastically deformed.
28 . The method according to claim 24 , wherein the fastening element is arranged on the flat part in a free-running manner.
29 . The method according to claim 24 , further comprising arranging at least one joining part on the flat part, wherein the joining part encompasses the fastening element.
30 . The method according to claim 24 , wherein the fastening element is a rotating fastening element, such as a screw, a nut, a twist and lock fastener or a bayonet fastener.
31 . The method according to claim 30 , wherein the fastening element has a collar pointing radially outwards.
32 . The method according to claim 24 , wherein the flat part is in the form of a cable connection element, particularly a cable shoe.
33 . An ultrasonic welding device comprising:
an anvil having a surface; a sonotrode arranged for movement up and down perpendicular to the surface of the anvil; and at least one damping element that can be pressed on a fastening element captively arranged on a flat part to be welded by the sonotrode, wherein pressing the at least one damping element restricts relative movement between the fastening element and the flat part to be welded.
34 . Ultrasonic welding device according to claim 33 , wherein the sonotrode includes a contact surface arranged laterally relative to the at least one damping element, such that when the sonotrode welds a joining part to the flat part, contact with the joining part is made laterally to the fastening element.
35 . Ultrasonic welding device according to claim 33 , further comprising
at least two side pushers moveable linearly towards one another so as to hold the flat part between the side pushers during welding; and a holding arm arranged on at least one of the side pushers such that the holding arm is movable at an angle to the linear movement in the direction of the fastening element and wherein the at least one damping element is arranged on the holding arm.
36 . Ultrasonic welding device according to claim 35 wherein the at least one damping element is arranged on a side of the holding arm facing towards the location at which the fastening element is to be placed during welding.
37 . Ultrasonic welding device according claim 33 , further comprising at least one second damping element arranged on a surface of the anvil opposite the first damping element.
38 . Ultrasonic welding device according to claim 37 , wherein the second damping element is arranged for supporting the flat part and spaced apart from the fastening element.
39 . Ultrasonic welding device according to claim 33 , further comprising a holding arm movable in the direction of the anvil, the holding arm having the at least one damping element attached thereto such that the at least one damping element is pressed in an elastically deforming manner by a travel of the holding arm toward the anvil.
40 . Ultrasonic welding device according to claim 39 , wherein the first damping element is arranged with a transition fit or a press fit in a blind hole on the holding arm.
41 . Ultrasonic device according to claim 33 , wherein the at least one damping element is made from an elastomer.
42 . Ultrasonic device according to claim 33 , further comprising a holding arm having the at least one damping element attached thereto such that a relative movement between the fastening element and the flat part during ultrasonic welding is restricted by a force applied in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the anvil.
43 . Ultrasonic welding device according to claim 33 , further comprising a holding unit for surrounding the flat part in a positively locking manner on three sides.
44 . Ultrasonic welding device according to claim 43 , wherein the holding unit is secured to the anvil.
45 . An ultrasonic welding system comprising:
an anvil having a surface; a sonotrode arranged for movement up and down perpendicular to the surface of the anvil;
a flat part placed over the surface of the anvil for welding by the sonotrode;
a fastening element arranged on the flat part; and
a damping element that can be pressed on the fastening element, wherein pressing the damping element restricts relative movement between the fastening element and the flat part.
46 . The system of claim 45 , wherein the damping element is arranged in such a way to the ultrasonic welding device that the fastening element is pressed against the flat part.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
