Abstract

A cue stick includes a cavity, and a canister is fitted within the cavity. The canister can be used to conceal small items such as cash or cigarettes. The canister can be substantially cylindrical and include a detachable cover, for example. The cue stick includes a detachable butt cap allowing access to the canister by the player. In some embodiments, the canister is weighted allowing the user to adjust the overall weight of the cue by selecting a canister having the desired additional weight.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A storage concealment system, comprising:
 a cue stick having a cavity; and   a canister fitted within the cavity;   wherein the canister is accessible by a player.   
     
     
         2 . The storage concealment system of  claim 1 , wherein the cue stick includes a detachable butt cap allowing access to the canister by the player. 
     
     
         3 . The storage concealment system of  claim 1 , wherein a portion of the cavity extends into the butt cap. 
     
     
         4 . The storage concealment system of  claim 3 , wherein most of the canister fits into the cavity that extends into the butt cap. 
     
     
         5 . The storage concealment system of  claim 2 , wherein the butt cap includes a threaded portion. 
     
     
         6 . The storage concealment system of  claim 1 , wherein the canister includes a detachable cover. 
     
     
         7 . The storage concealment system of  claim 1 , wherein the canister is substantially cylindrical. 
     
     
         8 . The storage concealment system of  claim 1 , wherein the canister is weighted. 
     
     
         9 . The storage concealment system of  claim 8 , wherein the canister weighs between about 1 and 3 ounces. 
     
     
         10 . The storage concealment system of  claim 1 , wherein the canister weighs between about 0.1 and 3 ounces. 
     
     
         11 . A cue stick having a butt sleeve, comprising:
 a cavity within the butt sleeve;   a canister fitted within the cavity; and   a butt cap detachably connected to the butt sleeve to seal the cavity.   
     
     
         12 . The cue stick of  claim 11 , wherein the butt cap includes a threaded portion. 
     
     
         13 . The cue stick of  claim 11 , wherein the canister includes a detachable cover. 
     
     
         14 . The cue stick of  claim 11 , wherein the canister is substantially cylindrical. 
     
     
         15 . The cue stick of  claim 11 , wherein the length of the cue is between about 55 and 70 inches. 
     
     
         16 . The cue stick of  claim 11 , wherein the weight of the cue is between about 8 and 24 ounces. 
     
     
         17 . The cue stick of  claim 11 , wherein the canister is weighted. 
     
     
         18 . The cue stick of  claim 17 , wherein the canister weighs between about 1 and 3 ounces. 
     
     
         19 . The cue stick system of  claim 11 , wherein the canister weighs between about 0.1 and 3 ounces. 
     
     
         20 . A cue stick, comprising:
 means for storing items in the cue stick; and   means for adjusting weight of the cue stick.
