Abstract
A method for producing a carbon fiber includes a separation step of separating an ash-free coal obtained from a bituminous coal or a sub-bituminous coal, into a soluble component(s) and an insoluble component(s) by a solvent extraction treatment, a heat treatment step of heat-treating the soluble component(s), a melt spinning step of melt-spinning the soluble component(s) subjected to the heat treatment, an infusibilization step of infusibilizing a filament body obtained by the melt spinning, and a carbonization step of carbonizing the filament body subjected to the infusibilization.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 : A method for producing a carbon fiber, comprising:
separating an ash-free coal obtained from a bituminous coal or a sub-bituminous coal, into a soluble component(s) and an insoluble component(s) by a solvent extraction treatment; heat-treating the soluble component(s); melt-spinning the soluble component(s) subjected to the heat treatment; infusibilizing a filament body obtained by the melt spinning; and carbonizing the filament body subjected to the infusibilization.
2 : The method for producing a carbon fiber according to claim 1 , wherein in the separating, a solvent extraction temperature is lower than 300° C.
3 : The method for producing a carbon fiber according to claim 1 , wherein in the heat-treating, a heat treatment temperature is 150° C. or higher.
4 : The method for producing a carbon fiber according to claim 1 , wherein a heat treatment temperature in the heat-treating is higher than a solvent extraction temperature in the separating.
5 : The method for producing a carbon fiber according to claim 1 , wherein a heat treatment temperature in the heat-treating is higher than a spinning temperature in the melt spinning.
6 : The method for producing a carbon fiber according to claim 2 , wherein in the heat treating, a heat treatment temperature is 150° C. or higher.Cited by (0)
