Padding device system

Abstract

A padding device system including a padding portion, a multiplicity of lateral supports, a vertical support, lateral support joining mechanisms, a vertical support joining mechanism, an adjusting mechanism, and a wearer joining mechanism. The padding portion may be configured to encircle an ergonomically shaped pad. The padding device system may be removably and adjustably joined to a user to cover and protect a user's knee.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A device comprising:
 a padding implement, wherein said padding implement is configured to protect a body portion, in which said padding implement comprising;
 an ergonomically shaped pad; and 
 a padding portion configured to encircle said ergonomically shaped pad; 
   a lateral support implement, wherein said lateral support implement is operable for fixing said padding implement on said body portion, in which said lateral support implement comprising;
 a lateral support portion; and 
 a lateral support joining mechanism, wherein said lateral support joining mechanism being configured to join an end of said lateral support portion to said padding portion; 
   a vertical support implement, wherein said vertical support implement being configured to secure said padding portion vertically, in which said vertical support implement comprising;
 a vertical support portion, wherein said vertical support portion is an adjustable vertical support portion. 
   
     
     
         2 . The device of  claim 1 , further comprising a vertical support adjusting mechanism, wherein said vertical support adjusting mechanism being configured to adjust a length of said vertical support implement. 
     
     
         3 . The device of  claim 2 , in which said vertical support adjusting mechanism comprising at least one of, a 3-bar metal adjuster, a 3-bar plastic or nylon adjuster, a metal or plastic slide, a 4-bar adjuster, and a lock and release adjuster, wherein said vertical support adjusting mechanism being configured to adjust said length of said vertical support implement. 
     
     
         4 . The device of  claim 5 , in which said vertical support implement further comprising at least a flexible lateral strap 
     
     
         5 . The device of  claim 2 , further comprising a vertical support wearer joining mechanism, wherein said vertical support wearer joining mechanism is configured to be removably and adjustably fixed to a wearer's clothing at a vertical position. 
     
     
         6 . The device of  claim 9 , in which said vertical support wearer joining mechanism comprising at least one of, a hook, a carabiner, a clip fastener, and a clasp. 
     
     
         7 . The device of  claim 5 , further comprising a vertical support joining mechanism, wherein said vertical support joining mechanism is configured to join said vertical support implement to said padding portion. 
     
     
         8 . The device of  claim 7 , in which said joining of said vertical support implement to said padding portion comprising stitching an end portion 
     
     
         9 . The device of  claim 1 , in which said lateral support implement further comprising at least two lateral support portions on a first side of said padding portion. 
     
     
         10 . The device of  claim 9 , in which said lateral support further comprising at least two lateral support joining mechanism on a second side of said padding portion. 
     
     
         11 . The device of  claim 10 , in which said lateral support portion further comprising at least a flexible lateral strap. 
     
     
         12 . A device comprising:
 means for protecting a body portion, in which said protecting means comprising;   means for laterally fixing said protecting means on said body portion;   means for joining said fixing means to said protecting means;   means for vertically securing said protecting means; and   means for vertically adjusting said securing means.   
     
     
         13 . The device of  claim 12 , further comprising means for removably and adjustably fixing said vertical securing means to a wearer's clothing. 
     
     
         14 . The device of  claim 13 , further comprising means for joining said vertical securing means to said protecting means. 
     
     
         15 . A device comprising:
 a padding implement, wherein said padding implement is configured to protect a body portion, in which said padding implement comprising;
 an ergonomically shaped pad; and 
 a padding portion configured to encircle said ergonomically shaped pad; 
   a lateral support implement, wherein said lateral support implement is operable for fixing said padding implement on said body portion, in which said lateral support implement comprising;
 a lateral support portion; and 
 a lateral support joining mechanism, wherein said lateral support joining mechanism being configured to join an end of said lateral support portion to said padding portion; 
   a vertical support implement, wherein said vertical support implement being configured to secure said padding portion vertically, in which said vertical support implement comprising;
 a vertical support portion, wherein said vertical support portion is an adjustable vertical support portion; and 
   a vertical support joining mechanism, wherein said vertical support joining mechanism is configured to join said vertical support implement to said padding portion.   
     
     
         16 . The device of  claim 15 , further comprising an vertical support adjusting mechanism, wherein said vertical support adjusting mechanism being configured to adjust a length of said vertical support implement. 
     
     
         17 . The device of  claim 16 , in which said vertical support adjusting mechanism comprising at least one of, a 3-bar metal adjuster, a 3-bar plastic or nylon adjuster, a metal or plastic slide, a 4-bar adjuster, and a lock and release adjuster, wherein said vertical support adjusting mechanism being configured to adjust said length of said vertical support implement. 
     
     
         18 . The device of  claim 15 , in which said vertical support implement further comprising at least a vertical flexible lateral strap. 
     
     
         19 . The device of  claim 18 , further comprising a vertical support wearer joining mechanism, wherein said vertical support wearer joining mechanism is configured to be removably and adjustably fixed to a wearer's clothing at a vertical position. 
     
     
         20 . The device of  claim 19 , in which said vertical support wearer joining mechanism comprising at least one of, a hook, a carabiner, a clip fastener, and a clasp, in which said joining of said vertical support implement to said padding portion comprising stitching an end portion of said vertical support portion.
