Abstract
In one embodiment, a method includes determining a sequence of image elements. For each image element in the sequence, a position in an array of contiguous image elements is determined. The position may be based on several factors, including at least: a size of the image element (large or small), an order of the image element in the sequence, and dimensions of the display array. The array of image elements may be rendered for display to the user such that the layout of the image elements is contiguous. If the user provides input re-sizing an image element or re-ordering the sequence of image elements, the array may be re-rendered.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 20 . (canceled)
21 . A method comprising:
accessing, by a computing device, a social-networking system comprising a social graph comprising a plurality of nodes connected by a plurality of edges, at least one first node in the social graph corresponding to a first user, at least one second node in the social graph corresponding to a second user; receiving, by the computing device, a request from the second user for a webpage comprising information corresponding to the first node in the social graph; identifying, by a computing device, a number of edges connecting the first node corresponding to the first user to the second node corresponding to the second user; and generating, by a computing device, based on the number of edges connecting the first node corresponding to the first user to the second node corresponding to the second user, the requested webpage for the second user, wherein the webpage comprises a plurality of contiguous image elements arranged in an array of contiguous image elements, each image element corresponding to a particular position in the array.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein at least some of the image elements comprising the webpage are determined based on the number of edges connecting the first node corresponding to the first user to the second node corresponding to the second user.
23 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the social graph further comprises at least one third node corresponding to a first concept and at least one edge connecting the first node to the third node.
24 . The method of claim 23 , wherein at least one of the image elements comprising the webpage correspond to the third node corresponding to the first concept.
25 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the at least one image elements is determined based on the number of edges connecting the first node corresponding to the first user to the second node corresponding to the second user.
26 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
receiving user input adjusting an order of the image elements in the array; and determining, for one or more image elements in the sequence, a position in the array of contiguous image elements.
27 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the image elements are based on a relevance of each of the image elements to the second user.
28 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the image elements are based on a relevance of each of the image elements to the first user.Cited by (0)
