Foldable Electric Vehicle
Abstract
Foldable electrical vehicles and related charging infrastructure are described. The foldable electrical vehicle generally includes three structural members (front and rear wheel-bearing structural members and a seat-bearing structural member) that are pivotally interconnected along their lengths such that they may be pivoted between a closed position wherein the three structural members are disposed roughly parallel to each other in a compact folded configuration, and an open riding configuration wherein an angular relation is formed between the structural members. The rear wheel-bearing structural member may comprise one or more foldable wheels pivotably interconnected thereto.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 20 . (canceled)
21 . A vehicle comprising:
two wheel-bearing structural members, a front wheel-bearing element having a front wheel assembly with at least one wheel, and a rear wheel-bearing element having a rear wheel assembly with at least one wheel, wherein at least one of the structural members further comprises one or more fenestrations disposed in the walls thereof; and at least one fender having a fender body configured to partially enclose at least an upper portion of one of either the front or rear wheels, the at least one fender comprising at least one attachment linkage configured to releasably engage at least one fenestration in one of either the front or rear structural member such that the at least one fender is stably disposed in relation to at least the structural member and wheel to which the at least one fender is related.
22 . The vehicle of claim 21 , wherein the at least one attachment linkage is resiliently deformable.
23 . The vehicle of claim 21 , wherein the at least one fender further comprises at least two attachment linkages.
24 . The vehicle of claim 21 , wherein at least a portion of the body of the at least one fender is configured to be resiliently deformable.
25 . The vehicle of claim 21 , further comprising at least one set of fork arms disposed on an end of one of the either the structural members; and
wherein the set fork arms further comprise one or more fenestrations disposed in the walls thereof; and wherein a portion of the body of the at least one fender is configured to engage with a portion of the set of fork arms.
26 . The vehicle of claim 25 , wherein the portion of the body of the at least one fender that is configured to engage with the portion of the set of fork arms is resiliently deformable.
27 . A fender comprising:
at least one body having an outer wall and an inner wall, wherein the body is configured to at least partially enclose a wheel body; at least one attachment linkage disposed on the outer wall and comprising an elongated body extending outwardly from the outer wall and configured to cooperatively engage with at least one support structure of the wheel body; and wherein, at least a portion of the at least one body incorporating the at least one attachment linkage is resiliently deformable.
28 . The fender of claim 27 , wherein the at least one attachment linkage is resiliently deformable.
29 . The fender of claim 27 , wherein at least a portion of the at least one body is configured to cooperatively engage with the at least one support structure.
30 . The fender of claim 27 , wherein the at least one body further comprises at least one fenestration configured to receive an element of the at least one support structure.
31 . A fender comprising:
a first body; a second body configured to cooperatively engage with the first body; and wherein the engaged first and second bodies are configured to at least partially enclose a wheel body; and at least one attachment linkage disposed on the either one of the first or second bodies and configured to cooperatively engage with at least one support structure of the wheel body; and wherein at least a portion of either one of the first or second bodies incorporating the at least one attachment linkage is resiliently deformable.
32 . The fender of claim 31 , wherein the at least one attachment linkage is resiliently deformable.
33 . The fender of claim 31 , wherein at least a portion of either one of the first or second bodies is configured to cooperatively engage with the at least one support structure.
34 . The fender of claim 31 , wherein either the first or the second body further comprises at least one fenestration configured to receive an element of the at least one support structure.Cited by (0)
