Abstract

The invention relates to a knife ( 10 ) having a housing ( 11 ) and having a blade support ( 25 ) for mounting a blade ( 17 ) that is held in a detachable manner between holding faces ( 42, 43 ) of the blade support ( 25 ) and a blade cover ( 26 ), the blade support ( 25 ) can be moved between an operating position and a blade replacement position, wherein the blade support ( 25 ) is in the operating position in the housing ( 11 ) and in the blade replacement position the blade support is moved so far out of the housing that the blade cover ( 26 ) can be removed from the blade support ( 25 ) the blade can be replaced.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A knife comprising:
a housing; a blade support on the housing for mounting a blade held in a detachable manner between holding faces of the blade support; and a blade cover, the blade support can be moved on the housing between an operating position and a blade replacement position, wherein the blade support is arranged in the operating position inside the housing and in the blade replacement position the blade support is moved so far out of the housing that the blade cover can be removed from the blade support and the blade can be replaced.

2 . The knife according to claim 1 , wherein the blade support has a first outer surface and the blade cover has a second outer surface and in that in the operating position, the first outer surface interacts with a first housing surface and the second outer surface interacts with a second housing surface in such a manner that the blade is clamped between the blade support and the blade cover.

3 . The knife according to claim 1 , wherein the blade support moves between the blade replacement position and the operating position within a plane.

4 . The knife according to claim 1 , wherein at least one outer surface is inclined toward the plane in a clamping region.

5 . The knife according to claim 2 , wherein at least one housing surface is inclined toward the plane in a clamping region.

6 . The knife according to claim 2 , wherein the outer surface or the housing surface are formed by a punctiform holding face.

7 . The knife according to claim 2 , wherein the two housing surfaces and/or the two outer surfaces are arranged conically with respect to one another in the clamping region.

8 . The knife according to claim 1 , wherein the outer surface and/or the housing surface is inclined in such a manner that clamping forces acting on the outer surfaces increase during the movement of the blade support from the blade replacement position into the operating position.

9 . The knife according to claim 2 , wherein at least in the clamping region, the housing is constructed in an elastically deformable manner so that the first housing surface and the second housing surface can be spread counter to the an elastic restoring force of the housing.

10 . The knife according to claim 1 , wherein the blade support forms a pivot joint G 1 with the housing and can be pivoted between the cutting position and the blade replacement position.

11 . The knife according to claim 1 , wherein the blade is in the cutting position in the housing in such a manner that a region of the cutting edge is in a recess constructed in the housing that geometrically delimits the access to the cutting edge and in that the cutting material can be supplied to the cutting edge via the recess.

12 . The knife according to wherein a first lever arm between the pivot axis a 1 and the control is considerably larger compared to a second lever arm between the pivot axis a 2 and a surface center point of the clamping region.
