Abstract
The invention provides a system and method for creating and facilitating the exchange of wagering-based transferable financial instruments. The instruments may be used to embody multiple various positions based upon the ultimate outcomes of uncertain future contingent events, including but not limited to outcomes of games of skill and chance. The invention further provides systems and platforms for monitoring, displaying information, and facilitating trading as to such instruments among multiple investment market participants, and a hosting or house participant, for time-variable buying and selling of such instruments.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 10 . (canceled)
11 . A method, comprising:
storing, by at least one processor in a memory, electronic data comprising an indication of a wager that combined results of a plurality of roulette wheel spins will occur by a future time; receiving, by the at least one processor, a live video feed comprising the results of the plurality of roulette wheel spins; executing, by the at least one processor, optical character recognition and shape recognition of the roulette wheel spin results within the live video feed; identifying, by the at least one processor, the results of the roulette wheel spins based on the optical character recognition and the shape recognition of the roulette wheel spin results within the live video feed; based at least in part on the results that were identified using optical recognition and shape recognition, determining, by the at least one processor, whether the results identified in the live video feed correspond to the wager in the memory; identifying, by the at least one processor, whether a current time equals the future time; and in response to determining that the results correspond to the wager and the current time is the future time, generating, by the at least one processor, an indication that the wager is a winning wager.
12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein receiving the live video feed further comprises communicating, by the at least one processor, with a plurality of video cameras that are physically arranged in at least one casino facility housing the plurality of roulette wheels.
13 . The method of claim 11 , wherein receiving the live video feed further comprises communicating, by the at least one processor, with a plurality of video cameras physically arranged in a plurality of casino facilities, wherein the plurality of roulette wheels are housed in a respective casino facility.
14 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising tracking, by the at least one processor, a respective result of each spin in the memory based on the optical recognition and the shape recognition on the live video feed until the future time is reached.
15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising rendering, by the at least one processor, a graph that corresponds to the respective result of each spin.
16 . The method of claim 14 , wherein tracking the respective result of each spin further comprises recording, by the at least one processor, a negative or positive point associated with the wager based on the respective result of each spin.
17 . An apparatus comprising:
a memory; a network interface; at least one processor to: store, in the memory, electronic data comprising an indication of a wager that combined results of a plurality of roulette wheel spins will occur by a future time; receive, via the network interface, a live video feed comprising the results of the plurality of roulette wheel spins; execute optical character recognition and shape recognition of the roulette wheel spin results within the live video feed; identify the results of the roulette wheel spins based on the optical character recognition and the shape recognition of the roulette wheel spin results within the live video feed; based at least in part on the results that were identified using optical recognition and shape recognition, determine whether the results identified in the live video feed correspond to the wager in the memory; identify whether a current time equals the future time; and in response to determining that the results correspond to the wager and the current time is the future time, generate an indication that the wager is a winning wager.
18 . The apparatus of claim 17 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to communicate, via the network interface, with a plurality of video cameras that are physically arranged in at least one casino facility housing the plurality of roulette wheels to receive the live video feed.
19 . The apparatus of claim 17 wherein the at least one processor is further configured to communicate, via the network interface, with a plurality of video cameras physically arranged in a plurality of casino facilities, wherein the plurality of roulette wheels are housed in a respective casino facility to receive the live video feed.
20 . The apparatus of claim 17 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to track a respective result of each spin in the memory based on the optical recognition and the shape recognition of the results in the live video feed until the future time is reached.
21 . The apparatus of claim 20 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to render a graph on a display device that corresponds to the respective result of each spin.
22 . The apparatus of claim 20 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to record a negative or positive point associated with the wager based on the respective result of each spin to track the respective results of each spin.Cited by (0)
