Abstract
The invention described herein relates to novel nucleic acid sequences and their encoded proteins, referred to as 158P1D7 and variants thereof, and to diagnostic and therapeutic methods and compositions useful in the management of various cancers that express 158P1D7 and variants thereof.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An antibody drug conjugate, comprising: an antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof conjugated to a cytotoxic agent, wherein the antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof binds to a protein consisting of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3.
2 . A method of inhibiting growth of a cancer cell which expresses a 158P1D7 protein, comprising providing an antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof that specifically binds to an epitope of the 158P1D7 protein, thereby inhibiting growth of the cancer cell,
wherein the 158P1D7 protein comprises the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3; wherein the epitope of the 158P1D7 protein to which the antibody or antigen binding fragment thereof specifically binds is located within amino acid residues 25-45 or 274-285 of SEQ ID NO: 3, and wherein the cancer cell is a bladder cancer cell.
3 . A method of generating a mammalian immune response directed to a protein, the method comprising exposing a cell of the mammal's immune system to the protein, wherein the protein has an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO: 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13.Cited by (0)
