Abstract
The present application relates to antiperspirant compositions comprising nitrogen-based and/or oxygen based perfume raw materials, and methods for making and using the antiperspirant compositions.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
. An antiperspirant composition comprising a perfume, the perfume comprising, based on total perfume weight, from about 0.000001% to about 10%, of a perfume raw material comprising an indole moiety; such that the perfume raw material resists the fragrance habituation of a consumer to the antiperspirant composition.
. The antiperspirant composition of claim 1 , comprising from about 0.001% to about 2%, of the perfume raw material comprising the indole moiety.
. The antiperspirant composition of claim 1 , comprising from about 0.01% to about 1%, of the perfume raw material comprising the indole moiety.
. The antiperspirant composition of claim 1 , wherein the indole moiety is selected from the group consisting of 1H-indole, 3-methyl-1H-indole; and mixtures thereof.
. The antiperspirant composition of claim 1 , wherein the indole moiety is selected from the group consisting of 1H-indole.
. The antiperspirant composition of claim 1 , wherein the antiperspirant composition has a four-week anti-habituation index of 3 or greater.
. The antiperspirant composition of claim 1 , wherein the antiperspirant composition is a stick antiperspirant.
. The antiperspirant of claim 7 , wherein the stick antiperspirant is an anhydrous stick, an invisible stick, or a soft solid.
. The antiperspirant composition of claim 1 , wherein the composition is a body spray, clear gel, or aerosol antiperspirant.
. The antiperspirant composition of claim 1 , wherein the antiperspirant composition is a roll on antiperspirant.
. A method of resisting the fragrance habituation of an antiperspirant composition, the method comprising:
forming an antiperspirant composition comprising a perfume, the perfume comprising, based on total perfume weight, a perfume raw material comprising from about 0.000001% to about 10%, of an indole moiety.
. The method of claim 11 , comprising from about 0.001% to about 2%, of the perfume raw material comprising the indole moiety.
. The method of claim 11 , comprising from about 0.01% to about 1%, of the perfume raw material comprising the indole moiety.
. The method of claim 11 , wherein the indole moiety is selected from the group consisting of 1H-indole, 3-methyl-1H-indole; and mixtures thereof.
. The method of claim 11 , wherein the indole moiety is selected from the group consisting of 1H-indole.
. The method of claim 11 , wherein the antiperspirant composition has a four-week anti-habituation index of 3 or greater.
. The method of claim 11 , wherein the antiperspirant composition is a stick antiperspirant.
. The method of claim 17 , wherein the stick antiperspirant is an anhydrous stick, an invisible stick, or a soft solid.
. The method of claim 11 , wherein the composition is a body spray, clear gel, or aerosol antiperspirant.
. The method of claim 11 , wherein the antiperspirant composition is a roll on antiperspirant.Cited by (0)
