Abstract

A prosthesis is disclosed for placement at an Os opening from a main body lumen to a branch body lumen. The prosthesis includes a radially expansible support at one end, a circumferentially extending link at the other end and at least one frond extending axially therebetween. The support is configured to be deployed in the branch body lumen, with the circumferentially extending link in the main lumen and the frond extendable across the Os.

.- 36 . (canceled)

. A prosthesis for placement at an ostium opening from a first body lumen to a second body lumen, the prosthesis comprising:
a first radially expansible support configured to be deployed at a first side of the ostium opening; at least one elongate member extending from an end of the first radially expansible support, the at least one elongate member comprising an undulating filament in at least the unexpanded state and configured to expand against a vessel wall; and a second radially expansible support configured to be deployed at a second side of the ostium opening, the second radially expansible support connected to the at least one elongate member, the second radially expansible support spaced apart from the first radially expansible support by the at least one elongate member.

. The prosthesis of claim 37 , wherein the first radially expansible support is configured to be deployed in the main vessel distally of the ostium opening, and wherein the second radially expansible support is configured to be deployed in the main vessel proximally of the ostium opening.

. The prosthesis of claim 37 , wherein the first radially expansible support is configured to be deployed in a first vessel, the second radially expansible support is configured to be deployed in a second vessel, wherein the first vessel has a smaller diameter than the second vessel.

. The prosthesis of claim 39 , wherein the first vessel is a branch vessel and the second vessel is a main vessel.

. The prosthesis of claim 37 , wherein the first radially expansible support comprises a stent.

. The prosthesis of claim 37 , wherein the second radially expansible support comprises a stent.

. The prosthesis of claim 37 , wherein the second radially expansible support has s shorter axial length than the first radially expansible support.

. The prosthesis of claim 37 , wherein the at least one elongate member comprises a plurality of elongate members.

. The prosthesis of claim 44 , wherein the plurality of elongate members includes at least two elongate members.

. The prosthesis of claim 45 , wherein a first elongate member is centered around 0° while a second elongate member is centered around 180° when the prosthesis is viewed in a proximal end elevational view.

. The prosthesis of claim 44 , wherein each of the plurality of elongate members comprises a single axially extending element.

. The prosthesis of claim 44 , wherein the plurality of elongate members is configured to not obstruct flow through the first and second body lumens when deployed.

. The prosthesis of claim 37 , further comprising at least one radiopaque marker.

. The prosthesis of claim 49 , wherein the at least one radiopaque marker is provided on a transition region between the at least one elongate member and the first or second radially expansible support.

. The prosthesis of claim 49 , wherein the at least one radiopaque maker is provided at or near a location on the prosthesis where the first or second radially expansible support is connected to the at least one elongate member.

. The prosthesis of claim 49 , wherein the at least one radiopaque marker comprises a plurality of radiopaque markers.

. The prosthesis of claim 37 , wherein the at least one elongate member is attached at a single point to the first or second radially expansible support.

. The prosthesis of claim 37 , wherein the prosthesis comprises a biodegradable polymer.
