More particularly, the present invention relates to conjugates comprising the carrier described herein and their use in the treatment and diagnostic of cancer.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for treating a patient having a cancer, said method comprising administering to said patient a pharmaceutical composition comprising:
(a) a conjugate comprising:
(i) a polypeptide comprising a sequence at least 80% identical to the amino acid sequence of Angiopep-2, or a biologically active fragment thereof; and
(ii) an agent conjugated to said polypeptide; and
(b) a solubilizer; in an amount sufficient to treat said cancer.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said cancer is a brain cancer.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein said brain cancer is a brain metastasis, a glioblastoma, or a glioma.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said cancer is outside the brain.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein said cancer is a lung tumor, a breast tumor, a kidney tumor, an eye tumor, a liver tumor, a colorectal tumor, a tumor of an urinary organ, or a metastatic cancer from a breast tumor, a lung tumor, a melanoma, or a brain tumor.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said cancer includes a cell expressing P-glycoprotein.
