Decorative charger cable apparatus

Abstract

A charger cable apparatus includes a charger cable with a first end and a second end, each end including a connector interface adapted for engagement with a complementary connection port or plug. The apparatus also includes decorative tassels provided on each end of the cable that are adapted to slide over the ends of the cables to conceal or to reveal the male connector interfaces. Optionally, the tassels can be incorporated into a sleeve that entirely covers the cable.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A charging cable apparatus comprising:
 a charger cable having a first electrical fitting at a first end and having a second electrical fitting at a second end;   a nut gripping a middle portion of the charger cable;   a tassel depending from the nut and surrounding and concealing at least a portion of the charger cable; and   a clip or a hook affixed at an end of the nut opposite the charger cable.   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein one of the first or second electrical fittings is an LED lamp. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein one of the first or second electrical fittings is a male USB plug. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein one of the first or second electrical fittings is a male micro-USB plug. 
     
     
         5 . A charging cable apparatus comprising:
 a charger cable having a first electrical fitting at a first end and having a second electrical fitting at a second end; and   at least one tassel surrounding and concealing at least a portion of the charger cable and at least one of the first and second electrical fittings.   
     
     
         6 . The apparatus of  claim 5 , wherein the tassel is slidingly attached to the charger cable and the position of the tassel relative to the charger cable can be adjusted by sliding the tassel along the charger cable. 
     
     
         7 . The apparatus of  claim 6 , further comprising a clip or a hook affixed to the at least one tassel. 
     
     
         8 . The apparatus of  claim 6 , further comprising a second tassel slidingly attached to the charger cable, wherein the position of each of the first tassel and the second tassel can be adjusted relative to a respective one of the first fitting or the second fitting by sliding the respective tassel along the charger cable. 
     
     
         9 . The apparatus of  claim 8 , further comprising a fastener affixed at a first portion of the charger cable and releasably engageable with a second portion of the charger cable for forming a loop of the apparatus.
