Polypeptides and immunizing compositions containing gram positive polypeptides and methods of use

Abstract

The present invention provides isolated polypeptides isolatable from a Staphylococcus spp. Also provided by the present invention are compositions that include one or more of the polypeptides, and methods for making and methods for using the polypeptides.

1 . A composition comprising:
 an isolated polypeptide having at least 92% sequence similarity to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:397, with the proviso that if the isolated polypeptide includes one or more additional amino acids at the amino terminal, the one or more additional amino acids include at least one amino acid deletion or at least one amino acid substitution compared to amino acids 1-26 of SEQ ID NO:399.
