Abstract
A geo-localization device and methodology use a plurality of wireless localization technologies, predictive methods and filtering to deliver accurate and reliable 3-dimensional positioning data for static and moving objects both outdoor and indoor.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
1 . A geo-localization device that uses a plurality of wireless technologies, predictive methods and filtering to calculate and output accurate and reliable 3-dimensional positioning data.
2 . A geo-localization device as set forth in claim 1 wherein said devices are designed to function in hazardous environments or environments with severe wireless signal attenuation.
3 . A geo-localization device as set forth in claim 1 wherein said devices that can move are self-aware of their own location.
4 . A geo-localization device as set forth in claim 1 wherein said device is powered by an external power connection.
5 . A geo-localization device as set forth in claim 1 wherein said device is integrated into other devices or equipment.
6 . A geo-localization device comprising:
a wearable device; a casing attached to said wearable device; a plurality of wireless localization technologies housed with said casing, each of said plurality of wireless localization technologies providing a location output signals; a control unit for receiving said location output signals and creating a three dimensional location identification signal based on said location output signals; and a transceiver electrically connected to said plurality of wireless localization technologies for transmitting said three dimensional location identification signal to a location remote of said geo-localization device.
7 . A geo-localization device as set forth in claim 6 including an inertial measurement unit to quantify the location of the geo-localization device.
8 . A geo-localization device as set forth in claim 7 wherein said wearable device is a piece of clothing.
9 . A geo-localization device as set forth in claim 7 wherein said wearable device is a piece of protective equipment.
10 . A geo-localization device as set forth in claim 6 wherein said casing is integrated into said wearable device.Cited by (0)
