Method and Apparatus for Enhanced Personal Care

Abstract

A health care evaluation and assessment system is provided. The system includes a reflective surface personal care device including a hardware sensor configured to sense color of regions of a user positioned facing the reflective surface personal care device over time. The reflective surface personal care device comprises means for transmitting the sensed color of regions of the user for further processing, and the system also includes a remote hardware server arrangement configured to receive the sensed color of regions of the user, process the sensed color of regions of the user, and provide assessments of health attributes to the user based on the sensed color of regions of the user, wherein at least one sensed physical attribute of the region of the user comprises color of a physical portion of the user comprising at least one of the user's skin, lip, external ear, oral cavity, nail bed, and eye.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An apparatus, comprising:
 a personal care device comprising a reflective surface and configured to include a hardware sensor configured to sense physical attributes of regions of a user positioned facing the reflective surface over time;   wherein the personal care device comprises means for transmitting the sensed physical attributes of the regions of the user for further processing; and   a remote hardware server arrangement configured to receive the sensed physical attributes of the regions of the user, process the sensed physical attributes of the regions of the user, and provide assessments of health attributes to the user;   wherein at least one sensed physical attribute of the region of the user comprises color of a physical portion of the user comprising at least one of the user's skin, lip, external ear, oral cavity, nail bed, and eye.   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the remote hardware server arrangement provides assessments comprising at least one of a graph, raw data, percentile data, and a recommendation. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the personal care device is further configured to provide nutritional and pharmaceutical care for the user. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the hardware sensor included with the personal care device comprising a reflective surface is configured to sense user attributes over time and the personal care device and remote server hardware arrangement collectively determine health issues for the user based on changes to user attribute color over time. 
     
     
         5 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the apparatus further comprises a user computing device configured to operate with the personal care device and remote hardware server arrangement. 
     
     
         6 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the personal care device is configured to receive a healthcare hardware module configured to sense a further health attribute of the user. 
     
     
         7 . A health care evaluation and assessment system, comprising:
 a reflective surface personal care device comprising a hardware sensor configured to sense color of regions of a user positioned facing the reflective surface personal care device over time;   wherein the reflective surface personal care device comprises means for transmitting the sensed color of regions of the user for further processing; and   a remote hardware server arrangement configured to receive the sensed color of regions of the user, process the sensed color of regions of the user, and provide assessments of health attributes to the user based on the sensed color of regions of the user.   
     
     
         8 . The health care evaluation and assessment system of  claim 7 , wherein the remote hardware server arrangement provides assessments comprising at least one of a graph, raw data, percentile data, and a recommendation. 
     
     
         9 . The health care evaluation and assessment system of  claim 7 , wherein the reflective surface personal care device is further configured to provide nutritional and pharmaceutical care for the user. 
     
     
         10 . The health care evaluation and assessment system of  claim 7 , wherein the hardware sensor included with the reflective surface personal care device is configured to sense user attributes over time and the reflective surface personal care device and remote server hardware arrangement collectively determine health issues for the user based on changes to user region color over time, wherein user region comprises at least one of the user's skin, lip, external ear, oral cavity, nail bed, and eye. 
     
     
         11 . The health care evaluation and assessment system of  claim 7 , further comprising a user computing device configured to operate with the reflective surface personal care device and remote hardware server arrangement. 
     
     
         12 . The health care evaluation and assessment system of  claim 7 , wherein the reflective surface personal care device is configured to receive a healthcare hardware module configured to sense a further health attribute of the user. 
     
     
         13 . A health care evaluation and assessment system, comprising:
 a reflective surface personal care device;   a hardware sensor provided with the reflective surface personal care device, wherein the configured to sense color of regions of a user positioned facing the reflective surface personal care device over time; and   a remote hardware server arrangement configured to receive the sensed color of regions of the user, process the sensed color of regions of the user, and provide assessments of health attributes to the user based on the sensed color of regions of the user, wherein regions of the user comprise at least one of the user's skin, lip, external ear, oral cavity, nail bed, and eye.   
     
     
         14 . The health care evaluation and assessment system of  claim 14 , wherein the remote hardware server arrangement provides assessments comprising at least one of a graph, raw data, percentile data, and a recommendation. 
     
     
         15 . The health care evaluation and assessment system of  claim 14 , wherein the reflective surface personal care device is further configured to provide nutritional and pharmaceutical care for the user. 
     
     
         16 . The health care evaluation and assessment system of  claim 14 , wherein the hardware sensor included with the reflective surface personal care device is configured to sense user attributes over time and the reflective surface personal care device and remote server hardware arrangement collectively determine health issues for the user based on changes to user attribute color over time. 
     
     
         17 . The health care evaluation and assessment system of  claim 14 , further comprising a user computing device configured to operate with the reflective surface personal care device and remote hardware server arrangement. 
     
     
         18 . The health care evaluation and assessment system of  claim 14 , wherein the reflective surface personal care device is configured to receive a healthcare hardware module configured to sense a further health attribute of the user. 
     
     
         19 . The health care evaluation and assessment system of  claim 14 , wherein the reflective surface personal care device comprises means for transmitting the sensed color of regions of the user to the remote hardware server arrangement.
