Claims

Abstract

The present invention is directed to a fertilizer composition comprising a cannabidiol (CBD Oil), and/or a tetrahydrocannabinol (THC Oil) and/or hemp oil derivatives in combination with a superabsorbent polymer(s) (SAP's). The present invention also relates to methods of using and manufacturing said fertilizers.

1 . A fertilizer comprising: 0.01 to 0.20% CBD oil and a superabsorbent polymer. 
     
     
         2 . A fertilizer according to  claim 1 , wherein said superabsorbent polymer comprises 0.1 to 20%. 
     
     
         3 . A fertilizer according to  claim 1 , wherein said superabsorbent polymer is selected from the group consisting of sodium carboxymethylcellulose, polyacrylamides, pectin, polyacrylic acid, polymethylvinylether maleic acid, sodium alginate, sodium/calcium alginate, polylactic acid, chitosan, carageenan, xanthan, gum Arabic, tragacanth gellan, polyaspartic acid, xanthan, guar, polyglutamic acid, hyaluronic acid or salts or derivatives thereof. 
     
     
         4 . A fertilizer according to  claim 1 , additionally comprising a base fertilizer. 
     
     
         5 . A fertilizer according to  claim 4 , wherein said Base fertilizer comprises Macronutrients selected from nitrogen compounds, phosphorous compounds, potassium compounds, calcium compounds, magnesium compounds, and sulfur compounds. 
     
     
         6 . A fertilizer according to  claim 5 , wherein said Base fertilizer comprises: Micronutrient compounds selected from the group consisting of boron, chlorine, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum, zinc and nickel. 
     
     
         7 . A fertilizer according to  claim 5 , wherein said fertilizer has a N-P-K fertilizer formulation ratio of 10-10-10. 
     
     
         8 . A fertilizer according to  claim 1 , further comprising 0.1-99.5% base fertilizer and 0.1-20% NaCMC. 
     
     
         9 . A fertilizer according to  claim 1 , further comprising 50-99.0% base fertilizer and 0.5-10% NaCMC. 
     
     
         10 . A fertilizer according to  claim 1 , further comprising 80-98.0% base fertilizer and 1.0-5.0% NaCMC. 
     
     
         11 . A fertilizer according to  claim 2 , wherein said fertilizer comprises 0.1-30% superabsorbent polymer. 
     
     
         12 . A fertilizer according to  claim 1 , wherein said superabsorbent polymer is NaCMC. 
     
     
         13 . A fertilizer according to  claim 5 , wherein said fertilizer has a N-P-K fertilizer formulation ratio of 3-2-2. 
     
     
         14 . A fertilizer according to  claim 1 , wherein said fertilizer further comprises a coating layer capable of providing a slow release of said fertilizer. 
     
     
         15 . A fertilizer according to  claim 14 , wherein said coating layer is selected from the group consisting of polyurethanes, epoxies, polyacrylates, polyvinyldene chloride, sulfur, polyvinyl chlorides (PVC) and combinations thereof. 
     
     
         16 . A method of fertilizing a plant comprising: administering to said plant a fertilizer including 0.01 to 0.20% Cannabidiol and a superabsorbent polymer. 
     
     
         17 . A method according to  claim 16 , wherein said fertilizer comprises 0.1-30% superabsorbent polymer. 
     
     
         18 . A method according to  claim 16 , wherein said superabsorbent polymer is NaCMC. 
     
     
         19 . A method of treating a plant for controlling at least one of pests, mildew, fungus and viruses comprising: administering to said plant a composition including 0.01 to 0.20% Cannabidiol and a superabsorbent polymer. 
     
     
         20 . A method according to  claim 19 , wherein said composition comprises 0.1-30% superabsorbent polymer.
